These chair covers are simple in their design, so they are so easy to put on and easy to quickly remove to sit down in the patio chair. The only negative is that they eventually mildew in our humid climate, but we've re-ordered them for several years for various patio chairs because the low price still makes these chair covers the best choice.

I took one of mine into the kitchen and put it under a full blast of water from the sink. No water came thru after five minutes of full board water. Maybe after a while that will change? I don't know. But , truthfully, these are pretty good as far as not leaking water. I don't even want to think of a rain storm that would pour more water on to them than I did in the sink? I was worried that they might not be large enough.. but the cut is very generous and totally covers our chairs. They do have ties, or mine do, but I did not tie them down as I want to be able to flip them off when we go outside to sit on the patio. These might get updrafted in a tornado or a hurricane or a severe wind/rain storm; but other than that, they seem like they'll be durable. I imagine if you don't shake out pooling water after a bad rain, they might eventually seep thru. I plan on doing that as it doesn't rain that much around here and they're right outside my back door. If my opinion changes, I'll let you know; but for right now, I am contented with them.

Medium duty covers are lighter than my OEM covers which finally gave out after about 8 years. I was looking for inexpensive to moderately priced covers for my cushioned deck chairs, so these measured large enough and seemed to fit the bill. Not rubberized, but a tight knit lighter duty type of canvas for those that are familiar with boat mooring covers, these are substantially less pliant and thick but look similar. Fits great around my chairs sized as advertised but leaves about 3-4" of the legs exposed. This is concerning for those looking for UV protection as the sun will be able to work at the lower legs of their deck chairs. There are string ties near the bottom of the cover's skirt, 1 for each leg, which I'll never ever use as that seems like a real PITA, particularly with multiple chairs. My OEM covers had a bit of elastic around the bottom edge. Yet the ties may be useful for some who live in really windy climates or are going away on vacation.

I bought 2 chair covers and a loveseat cover. After one year, one chair cover got a small rip in the top that I taped over. Then after 17 months, the second chair cover completely exploded near one arm. The material itself failed, not a seam. To be fair, I leave these on all the time and only remove them occasionally to sit in. They are exposed to the elements pretty much 365. I don't know if they would last longer if they were moved more or left out less frequently. The loveseat cover seems to be holding up so far.Another downside to these is that the strings to tie the covers to the seat legs are very short, like impossible to tie in a proper bow. Can only either be tied in a half bow or a half/full knot.

So, as usual, I waited until it was kind of an emergency to take care of outdoor winterizing. And my deck furniture was going to be a casualty if I didn't find something suitable -- fast. These were about the cheapest patio furniture covers I ran across and I decided to take a chance -- I was pleasantly surprised! These feel more fabric-y than plastic-y and they're probably more water resistant than they are water proof but I think they're going to do the job nicely. And if, at the end of the season they haven't held up or haven't done their job properly, I won't cry over the amount of money I've spent. These fit my chairs' profile pretty well but it was a nice feature to find ties that I could wrap around the legs sewn into the seams of the covers. There was no problem stacking the throw pillows under the cushions too so that saved me having to buy a deck storage box or some other type of cover. I'm pleased so far -- and we've had a couple of really wicked overnight wind storms. The covers were still in place and everything is as it should be. Bargain purchase of the week as far as I'm concerned!

We bought a few of these covers They lasted roughly one season, and then they *all* began to tear even though we only covered/uncovered our patio furniture about once per week. We also made the *big* mistake of putting one cover into our washing machine -- that basically destroyed the cover. Lesson learned. On the up-side, these are much less expensive than comparable but more durable covers (e.g., by Ravenna). So on a cost-per-time basis, these may actually be a better deal. (I can't tell yet because I have only had the Ravenna covers for 6 months.) If you get these, just plan on buying new covers every 1-2 years.

Sturdy, blocks furniture fade as well as rain.

We bought these to cover our chairs over winter,tried them when we received the package and they fit the chairs very well,ties for around the four legs is a definite plus, our winters are harsh and windy,material seems very sturdy and is thick,Hoping for the best results once we use them, especially when we uncover our chairs next spring

This cover is exactly what I was hoping for, durable and a great fit.

These covers keep my chairs and cushions dry, I am so glad I bought them.
