Faulty craftsmanship. Crooked alignment on parts. I would not recommend these lanterns if quality is important.

These three lanterns were bent and not fitting well to the various parts on each lantern causing them to lean and look tilted we keep them but was very disappointed in the quality of manufacturing.

These are very attractive lanterns - perfect for low-traffic areas. If you have children or pets, keep in mind that the glass is very thin. I don't recommend hanging them because the latch holding the lid on is pretty flimsy. After hanging one above the patio, my husband bumped it and the whole thing came crashing down. Boo, it was so pretty with the flameless candle we put in it! But we still have the two on our hearth and love how they look.

It was interesting reading the other reviews with some saying they thought the quality was poor, and others thinking all was spot on. So...for me...these were perfect. All arrived on time and in perfect condition via UPS (having been double boxed by the vendor with plenty of plastic bubble wrap, suitable styrofoam and cardboard spacers). I was very pleased with the packaging/condition. As to the quality, I thought they are just fine, not designed for tough barn use going out to milk the cows, but given that mine are under a protected porch and decorative, I think they will do just fine. Be careful unwrapping everything, you need to take a bit of extra time to negotiate the packing and sharp edges so as not to scratch the surfaces or wound yourself. I did wear surgical gloves as the vendor recommended to guard against the glass edges during the minimal assembly These are NOT inexpensive (to my mind), but neither are you receiving less than good value for the cost. I am really pleased. Remember, the lanterns do NOT include the candles. I used the artificial ones that allow for a remote on/off/timer function.

I ordered these instead of some very pricey ones from a popular decorating site because my husband didn't want to pay that much for something that goes outside. I am pleased with the look of these. Bought a trio of outdoor candles to go in them. Nice in the evening.

Great sizes, great price and great quality. They look great and come with extra glass pieces in case one gets broken. Well packaged. Mine arrived with no damage.

Very pretty once assembled although assembly was a little bit more than I realized it would be.So pretty once I put the timed candles in them!!

This was more beautiful than I expected. My only issue was the glass panes for the medium lantern were all broke. Very disappointed! That is why I have it four stars.
