This books clearly gives the idea of what role u should play. We need to work in sync with the machine learning. U need to acquire new skills to get ur current job done and re skills urself to be future ready. Must read for all marketing experts.

Great content but poorly written
The book itself contains amazing info for any PPC person but the author should really hire a copywriter next time. The book is really poorly written at times and sometimes hard to read because of it. (I found this statement to be particularly true during first few chapters. It somehow gets better half way through!)

There's much more to online marketing than just data
Frederick wrote an excellent book that anyone owning a or working at a digital marketing agency should read.Because we are all aware that AI or machine learning is gradually taking over a lot of the (basic repetitive) work we've been doing for years and are wondering how to adapt our business models. AI also analyses big data much faster than any human can. When well coded it detects problems, challenges and opportunities faster and more efficiently than we humans can.A lot of digital marketers might be technically very savvy, but they don't know enough about basic marketing, branding, brand identity, communication strategy, positioning etc... And a brand needs all of this in order to be successful.Only using data to guide one's decisions (as AI does) or not using data sufficiently (as traditional marketing does) is a hemiplegic approach.Frederick's book indicates the journey every digital agency should set upon. Which ironically is based on knowledge found in good old fashioned traditional marketing and sales.

Highly Recommended & Valuable
I got through the book in 2 days. It had an excellent writing style and lots of valuable information about the newest trends in the PPC/Digital Marketing industry and how to properly adapt and strive in this new landscape. In my opinion, this book is a must if you're a PPC professional.

Fantastic easy reading, with insights into the ghosts of Google Past, Present, and Future.Presented in a manner that makes sense, allows you to relate, and provides plenty of dogear nuggets to refer back to in the future.I had the pleasure of meeting Fred at several Google events in the past and always found his insights valuable.This book gives you Fred, his insights, his experience and his thoughts in one tight format. There is true ROI from reading this book.PS.
