Great plate for car camping and gatherings. I don't use it for backpacking.
For backpacking this plate is to big for me. Backpacking I am mostly eating out of bags. Or flat folding dishes. For car camping this dish is amazing. It is a little small so if your use to a regular size dinner plate full of food. You will need to get seconds or thirds with this plate. If your trying to be eco friendly by not using paper or plastic plates. This is a great travel plate for bbqs and cookouts. Once again if you plan to eat a lot you will need to get seconds due to size.

Perfect size for multi-purpose motocamping dinnerware
This is only piece of dinnerware I use in my motocamping mess kit. So it is used for dry and wet meals, and is fine.1. The slope on the sides of the bowl make it a little awkward to handle with pot clamps/holders. I just use my camp gloves to move it on/off the fire.2. SCRATCHY. I can only use wooden utensils with this. Even after a few uses, that scratchy feeling has not gone away. It may be a personal preference, but running any metal utensil across the surface is a nails-on-the-chalkboard feeling to me.3. Cleans up very easily!4. It's very light, so it'll shift around on the grill/grate if you're cooking something that doesn't have a lot of weight.

worth 50 cents
the price is way too high for 50 cents plate.

Usable as a lid
Fits Toaks 2L pot as a lid in both orientations which is what I got it for. Now I can use it as a plate, add coals to it to bake in my 2L pot, or use it just as a lid for not much more than the weight of the factory lid.I would give it 5 stars if it werent a gritty bead blast type finish that will be more prone to holding food stuck to it.

It's shorter than expected by just a bit
I think it's great. Low weight obviously. But making a ramen in the plate is hard. I know it's supposed to be used a plate not a bowl. But this is a good plate and I would reccomend for a small setup. I might get the large double wall bowl instead. The heat does transfer through the metal easily.
