I needed a seat cushion to compensate for a lack of padding on my office chair. This cushion doesn't quite cover the entire chair seat, but it's large enough that it's not a distraction. I'm not exactly lightweight and I find it quite comfortable.

After a bad fall that resulted in two pelvic fractures and a fracture of the coccyx, I have become an unintended expert of seat cushions. Medicare provided one for the wheelchair when I was released from the physical rehab facility which is fine for the wheelchair but a bit large, heavy, and slippery for everything else. I purchased another one from amazon that was a memory foam model, and then I purchased this one which is the best of all.Due to the nature of my injuries, sitting is very uncomfortable and everything must be just right: the seat cannot be too low because it's hard to rise; the seat must be flat with neither convex cushioning nor concave contouring; and the supporting cushion must be level and flat and provide cushioning if the chair is firm and support if the chair is soft. This is the only cushion that works in almost any scenario. It buffers the drop when I sit, I can sit for extended periods, it keeps its shape while conforming to my contours--it does everything!I initially thought that memory foam would be the ideal--it's not. It reshapes itself around you, sinks down and flattens where your weight is and then cups itself around you creating a sort of nest. Very cozy, but not terribly helpful. It's too soft and, surprisingly, you actually need support that ranges from medium to firm and provides a safe surface that cushions the pain as you drop onto it when sitting and maintains its shape and firmness when it's time to stand.The only situations in which this seat is not perfect are the car (because it makes the seat higher and it's harder to climb onto) and any chair with wheels (like my office chair) because my knees hit the cushion first and this pushes the chair back so it's a bit dangerous. Otherwise, it goes everywhere with me.

I’ve had major back surgery. I bought this immediately after getting home from the hospital. It lives in my recliner and so do I. Recommended.

This cushion works well on my recumbent bike seat. However I do wish it was a bit softer. It is extremely well made and I would highly recommend this to anyone not wanted more a of memory foam butt experience.

Hubby likes it, I did make a cover for it only to protect.
