Hello ,The Lens width: 52 millimeters , so i think these maybe too big for infants.

Q: Are the small metal studs on the temples and side the same gold color as the rims? Or are they silver when the rims are gold?

Yes they are good and dark enough to hide your eyes The only reason I returned it was, it says it's unisex but it's mostly looks like women sunglasses.
