Cheaper Version of Great Clean Feeders
I already had this style of feeder for my gouldian finches previously. I wanted to order several more and was looking for the type with the same hooks as my previous ones. This one ticked all the boxes in regards to size and way to hang. The only downside is the plastic is certainly cheaper than my original, it doesn't not slide as smooth and the the top for one of the two that arrived does not fit in any way shape or form. It is not 'broken', but molded somehow by design, this top curves in such a way that no matter my bending, pulling, pushing and beating, I could not get the top to fit on. This is somewhat of a bummer to me, as many of my larger birds free roam and I am concerned about them flipping off the top and having a bit of a snack on what's inside. What I'll likely do is use these until I can re-order my original.Overall, a good product based on a tried and true design, simply done cheaper.

Update; my birds and i love it
Update 5/19:Hi, after 24 hours using this feeder i am about to go ahead now and order another one.the birds right away took to this feeder and the amount of waste on the floor this reduces is like 99%. i could not hang it on my F040 cage door as it didnt fit and id does not cover entire opening but my previous feedr was just sitting on the floor of the cage so this is not a mhor concern for me. i hanged it inside the cage next to a perch (this feeder does not have a good perch). works like a charm, i liek it and as i said i'm about to order another one.My original complaint that only one bird at a time can eat from it still stands (i did see once in a while another bird jumping on it but most of the times they fight over it as there is not enough space for 2).pros outweight the cons. 4.5 stars.Original review:item is very expensive compared with the quality, it looks land feels very cheap.I dont like the color of this feeder (its not clear), it only has place for one parakeet at a time (if anything).its very uncomfortable for the bird to eat without any adjustmetns.great concept, i will try it out for a few days and see if it reduces seed mess , but would probably return.again i applause the concept but it needs a little bit of fine tuning.

Working really well!!!
Really have struggled to find something that can supply seed for more than a day or two but stay clean as well. These did the trick. I had to do some adjustments/tinkering to get them to fit on my flight cage. I had to have something that could go in the open door but attach on the inside of cage. These are slightly smaller than the door opening, so I made a panel from lightweight plastic to frame the feeders. There was an adjustment period of several days and not sure if all of my finches would take to them, but my zebras and cordon blue and orange cheek waxbill are all comfortable with these. I also had to do some sifting with the seed mix I use to be sure to remove the chunkier/stickier fruit piece as it seems they would stop up the feeder.I really like that these keep the seed clean - only what they have eaten or rejected goes into the catcher tray and they are not able to get back into it like with other feeders. If I could change anything, it would be to have a larger size and with multiple ways to attach to cage so I didn't have to rig something up on my own.

Good for nights away, but there’s some seed wastage.
A lot of full seeds fall through into the bottom as well as husks/shells.. but overall I don’t regret purchasing it, it works well enough. Better than leaving just a giant bowl of seed for him when we’re away for a couple nights.. I just pour the fall-through into a tray for him to pick through when we get back.Wouldn’t recommend as a daily feeder though. Too much waste.

Does what it says
A great invention! It separates seeds and hulls and and has a continuous flow of seeds just like it says it does. I have two budgies and now I only have to fill up the container every 10 days or so. The tray that catches the hulls I empty about every five days . This feeder makes less mess and less things to do, and keeps the bird poop out of the food .
