Excellent , genuine and heartfelt autobiography .
This is one of the most genuine and heartfelt autobiographies I have had the pleasure of reading up until now . Written impeccably in a unique way of vignettes / memories , this book takes us through the life of a known personality of Lucknow , in a very humbling way. With insights on teaching as a career , the Parsi community , relationships , love and loss , this journal leaves us with a smile, admiring the author for having led her life her way with immense gratitude. A must read for one and all.

enjoyable read … go for it!
This, a book of memoirs, is written by a colourful personality, Ms. Viccajee, who has had a largely blessed life. While rambling down memory lane, she also paints a vivid first hand picture of the very progressive and vibrant social scene in the lovely city of Lucknow in the 60s and 70s which was, in her words, very much comparable to Bombay and Delhi at that time. The book is a very easy and enjoyable read and you get the feeling that you're not reading a book, rather listening to the author first hand! This book is less than 200 pages with a comfortable font size … one can read in one sitting. I only wish the graphics… photos shared were reproduced in better quality. All in all an enjoyable read … go for it.
