98 Camry V6 - Bank1 Sensor2 (Downstream of CAT)
First of all, a Sensor2 error code (Downstream of CAT) isn't as big a deal as a Sensor1 error codes (Upstream), but we got tired of reconnecting the battery terminal every month to remove the amber check engine light. Secondly, a Sensor2 failure seldom happens, but we're talking about a much older car here. Anyways, got under the car to unfastened it and learned to route the wiring from beneath the drivers seat (Thank you YouTube) without removing the seat. Teens are happy, wife happy, happy life! Lol.

Worked for my california spec. 1999 camry 4 cyl.
I bought denso part no. 234-4137 (o2 sensor) in jan 2018. I have a 1999 toyota camry 4 cyl (kentucky built) with california emission spec. Had 0136 code check engine light (downstream o2 sensor). I prefer denso actual replacement part or oem parts, but they are now costing $200-300. so I went with this one. One review said they thought its actually a universal sensor, so I was worried that it might not take care of the check engine light, even if it was getting close enough performance that the car would run decent. So I was happy to find it works fine. Car is running better with better pep (since it can now adjust everything as its supposed to) and check engine light has been off 2 weeks. I cleared the code after installing, and it never came back on.

OEM Toyota O² sensor downstream replacement
1 month in so far so good. This is supposed to be the OEM manufacturer for Toyota and amazon has it for roughly 1/4 the price vs Toyota and not counting tax, so it's even less. Reset cpu after install to get rid of check engine light, drove 1 week and passed emissions test no problem. Will update if any news but do far so good. Very satisfied with prompt amazon 2 day delivery also. Definitely recommend.

direct replacement for 2000 Camry
Initially I purchased another brand (Bosch) that was listed as a direct replacement for my 2000 Camry, but that sensor didn't include the rubber doohicky that provides a water-tight seal around the wire, where it passes from outside to inside the car. This item is the very same model that was originally on my Camry, fit perfectly, and works.Note: I replaced both oxygen sensors on my car and expected the "check engine" light to reset by itself, but after about a week of driving, I reset the light manually (with a meter). It has been 4+ months and the light has remained off, indicating that the new oxygen sensors are working fine.

OEM DOWNSTREAM BANK 1 02 SENSOR FOR 99 CAMRY CALIF EMISSIONS
This is the OEM 02 sensor for the 97-01 Camry 2.2l 5S-FE engine with California emissions (not sure if it is OEM on Camrys with Federal emissions). It should work like your original as long as you have a healthy engine. The only thing that I can see that's different is the factory sensor had a wire shroud over the wires and this one has exposed wires, so consider using wire loom to protect it. Also, if you happen to do the dumb thing I did, learn from my mistake.... While I had the radio on (key turned to "accessories"), I cut the wires on the original sensor to use as a pull-thru for getting the new wires attached under the driver's seat. When I went to start the car, it only cranked. When I finally realized what I had done, The first thing I thought was I may have just blown the car's ECU. Turns out that shorting anything in the car's emissions or fuel delivery systems simply blows the 15A Fuel Pump fuse so you cannot start the engine until whatever blew the fuse is repaired. This is further proof of a great design. I should have disconnected the battery ground before working on the car. Duh!
