NEC NP01LP Projector Lamp with Housing NP01LP

I received this product and it was defective in two ways: first, it ran ridiculously hot and you could smell the plastic housing around the lamp heating up, the second issue was a red area on the left side of the projection area.I sent the product back for a refund. They said that the product did not have the issues I experienced, And that I would have to send them further information about my projector, stating that my projector was the issue.By this time, I had already received a replacement from a separate vendor and it was working properly. The projector was working like new without their lamp. I made it clear that I had tested with other lamps with success and they still would only give me $32 back when I paid $42.Don't buy from this vendor, spend $10 more and receive better service.

Definitely not OEM, but it cost less than half as much and seems to work just as well.

Delivery process was expedient. Except that I found out that although the specification for the lamp is right, it is a duplicate and won't work with my projector. I intend to send it back without any obligation. Thanks.

The housing compartment of the bulb was not intact. Local electrician was able to repair using clamps from previous lamp for the newly purchased lamp to be made operational.

I had already purchased one of these and was pleased with its performance.This one is a spare for when the inevitable happens
