My honest opinion
It is a good overhead tarp it is made very good. It will not break on you. It will last for a long period of time. Hopefully a couple years. The material is a strong polyester and the sun protection is a medium just because a lot of sun still does get in. It doesn’t fully protect you from the sun cause it is ment for shade putting it up was very easy. You just have to attach the bracket to something sturdy that won’t move and hang it and thickness of the material is better than average. I would recommend

It does exactly what it says!
I tend develope a red rash on my face after sun exposure even if I have not gotten a sunburn and my doc has told me to be very careful to using protective clothing and sunscreen because of this. We purchased the " Sunny guard sunshade sail " because the product claims they use a," fabric that Blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays and direct sunlight exposure."Breathable" fabric allows air to pass freely and achieve a certain degree of cooling. "I've personally found this to be true. A few days I accidentally forgot sunscreen and after being on my patio for about 4 hours there was still no red rash on my face nor any other symptoms to suggest I had been outside for so long. I also find it greatly reduces the temperature underneath the shade to a tolerable point.Since being able to freely enjoy being outdoors it feels as if we'd increased the actual living space of our home. We would absolutely buy it again and recommend it 100%!!

Great quality and good shade.
Love this sun shade. Had an umbrella for years. But Michigan winds can come from nowhere and all of a sudden, umbrella gone. This has been great. Much better coverage and was super easy to install. Looking at a similar product for me deck railings for some wind blockage and privacy.

Mr.Reviewer here.My wife wanted me to update her patio. I had to whip out some tools and ingenuity, and ta daaa. I originally had a Harbor Freight mesh up but the sun was still breaking through. This shade sail does it’s job. You know what they say….. HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE. Go ahead and purchase it, it’s worth every cent. It was package perfect and I ordered this morning asked my wife if she liked and received it by 5pm the same day. now we can enjoy our patio with the sun baking us.
