i Don’t think that’s gonna work out for you. It’s inflatable so yes, it will float but it’s not going to float upright. It will def fall over.

Q: Could I fill this with sand for a "digging for treasure " activity?

The cooler is comprised of many air pockets. I would think that is the sand is not too deep and they "diggers" use only their hands, it would be fine! The reason I mention the air pockets is that it may not be the flattest on the bottom...or just don't inflate the bottom.

Q: What are the dimensions?

I'm not sure of the dimensions, but it held abut 24 little Hawaiian punches, and a 12 pack of Dr.pepper.

Q: Will this float? want to pull it behind our pontoon for a party.

I'm sure it would float on its own if empty, but would not float full or being towed behind your pontoon. Plus the lid is held shut by a strip of Velcro so you would probably lose anything you put in it. Please don't think its a bad product because of what I said. It's just not sturdy enough for what you want to use it for. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
