When I startend crocheting I used normal metal hooks, but I started having really bad cramps in my hands. That's why I bought these, and they are AMAZING! A very good price and I no longer have any cramps at all, I also love that this kit comes in a super cute case and even needles and stitch markers.

Easy to hold, good for achey hands
Love them. My hands were aching with the smaller handles. These are great. Altho the writing did rub off so I don't know the sizing. Apparently I could have prevented this with some clear nail polish

Miracle Workers!
I absolutely LOVE these hooks! I have been crocheting for well over fifty years. In those years I have collected quite an array and variety of hooks. When my hands became so painful with arthritis, I believed I would have to give up crocheting as none of my hooks would allow me to crochet without pain. Then I found these on Amazon. This week I completed my first afghan using these hooks. What a joy!!! I was pain free and fast. These allow me soft handles with perfect grip. They are sturdy and the sizes are well marked.
