I really wanted to like these boots. They were a big purchase for me because I needed something stylish, yet functional, that I could wear with my skinny jeans or boot cut jeans. I was really disappointed to find that the top of the boot is tight enough that I couldn’t fit my skinny jeans in without them starting to bunch up, so I had to roll them to wear these boots. That made it so I had to wear short socks. They aren’t great with jeans over the top either though because the top edge is sort of rough and I’m positive I’d have had blisters if I walked any distance in them. There definitely needs to be tall socks to protect your shin from rubbing. I ended up returning these.

Extremely comfortable from the moment you put them on! I think I’m sold on ariat because of these boots. They’re very fashionable and I agree with the other reviewers about them potentially being a great travel boot. The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is because the right boot felt broken in already and is much more loose than the left foot. It still fits but I’m wondering if it was a display boot at some point that people had already tried on? I’m hoping the left boot breaks in to a similar fit. Oh and toward the end of the day the top portion started to rub my leg but it wasn’t bad and I think with wear that will go away.

Although I haven't tested their waterproof-ness yet, they are what I expected. Simple and classic Ariat styling -- no B.S. My only concern is that the insole didn't seem to be the "normal" ATS insole; the boots came with less of an arch-supporting insole. I replaced these original insoles with ATS insoles which were purchased separately and now everything is great! Hoping they can see me through many days of walking around rainy London.
