🧡 Stay dry, stay smart—silica gel that works as hard as you do!
This 1kg tub of orange self-indicating silica gel features 2-4mm beads that change color from orange to green to signal moisture saturation. With a high absorption capacity of up to 30% of its weight, it’s perfect for flower drying, dehumidifying, and storage protection. The reusable 1.5L container doubles as a drying and storage solution, and the beads can be reactivated simply by heating in an oven or microwave, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective moisture control option.

Works very well for 3d printing filament
Does the job nicely. I use it to keep my 3d printing filament nice and dry. Last about a month before I have to dry it. Super simple to use as you can see the colour changing when it needs drying. Compared to the sachets this is a great value for money and much easier to dry and reuse.

Self indicating is the key!
The Trustleaf orange silica beads are a great way to take moisture from whatever you need to dry out. Trustleaf sell this for drying out Flowers, but it has many other uses such as 3D printing filament or photographic equipment, telescopes or lenses of any kind, this silica gel is perfect for the job. As it absorbs moisture, it changes colour from orange to dark green, when it has changed colour, you can put it in an oven to "re-charge" it, or dry it out. Then just use it over and over.Instructions are printed on the tub for temperature and time it takes, you can even do it in a microwave oven on defrost.

So far so good
Works as intended and once the silica balls have changed colour from orange to green I placed a layer on a suitable microwaveable dish/plate or silicon tray and placed in 900w microwave setting on defrost for 5mins at a time Stirling occasionally until they turned back to orange. Don't use full power as this may burn them,

keep the moist out
I use those silica gel on my 3d print spools of PLA, works really well and for a long time, since i live in a place with lots of moisture i thought i would have to change every week lol.but with Trustleaf 2kg Orange Self Indicating Silica Gel i can be more than 3 months without changing. My only point is the reuse part can be really trick if you dont use the right setting to dry the gel, because if you go to high you burn than and stop working completely. took me a few tries to understand my oven temperature to dry properly. Will buy again when my runs out.

love these
Love these, used in conjunction with humidity sensor, totally reusable after drying out in the microwave

Great but resist the urge to put your hand in when drying in the microwave
The beads stick to your skin causing burns as they don’t detach easily when hot. This is not mentioned in the safety instructions which state ‘No specific safety instructions’They do work well for keeping filament dry.

A must for 3D Printing Makers.
This is a must have to keep your filament dry when storing it.Easily added to containers and put between spools in storage to maintain dryness.Reusable as you can dry it in the oven, microwave (defrost only) or filament dryer.
