First of all the product is very well made. Three stars only because I can barely get my 38 special cartridges in the loops. 38's are very tight. I actually purchased this item for 44 mag. There is no way, no how a 44 mag cartridge will fit. Product details noted that it would accept a 44 cal. cartridge. Not true in my opinion

One bullet Loop tighter Than others
One loop is tighter than the others is pretty much the reason why I won't give this a 5 out of 5. I had to regularly try to stretch one of them out cuz it's not as easy to get the bullet out of it than the other loops.. it can get annoying since I like to have all of my things balanced (Taoist or ocd?)Right now its not as bad as when i first got it cuz its breaking in but there is still a noticeable difference between loops.Besides that one issue. Good quality. Could tell it would last me awhile. Looks awesome on my belt. I use 38 special

A perfect fit
This cartridge holder fits nicely between belt loops on my Wrangler jeans. After threading my gun-belt through two belt loops on my weak-side, I thread it through the slots in the cartridge holder and then thread my belt through the remaining loops in my jeans. It's comfortable, inconspicuous and perfectly holds the .38/.357 cartridges. It is a quality product.

High quality leather product that is sturdy and rigid enough to secure rounds in place (I use it for .38ca rounds) yet it is flexible enough to fit the contours of my waist regardless of where on my belt I put it.

The best cartridge holder.
This cartridge holder is ideal for the person who wants concealed ammunition handy for their weapon. It lays flat against the waistband.

Very well made, sturdy & style
Look and feel nice. A quality product.I put 3 x .38 special and 3 x 357 mag in it easily without problem. Not too tight nor too loose.

Fits Ruger .480
This is probably the best way for you to carry some extra .480 bullets for a Ruger Alaskan for those who carry the gun in a holster on a belt. Nice leather work, nice and flat and spread out when worn on the gun belt. Ruger .480 will fit after about a week of allowing it to stretch out bit by bit using the Galco leather stretching gel. Impossibly tight at first, however, perfect when done. Easy quick access to extra bullets and they will not fall out.

Good for 38/357, but not 44 mag
This is a really nice, low profile design. It's comfortable and practical when I'm hiking, fishing, or in other situations where I'm carrying a single action or don't want to lug around heavier speed loaders for a double-action revolver. However, despite the seller's comments above, it really does not fit 44 magnum cartridges. Even after a month of leaving them in the holder it's still so tight that it takes two hands to remove the cartridges, especially when it's on a belt. That's simply not practical. With shorter 44 special it's virtually impossible to remove the cartridges without using a tool since I can't get enough of a grip on them. Consequently I recommend it for 38 and 357, but not for 44 mag. They're a bit looser than I'd like in the 45 version of this belt slide holder, but don't fall out too easily so I've decided to use that size instead. Fortunately it still fits 38/357 okay after all the stretching.
