The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.Go Game Rules:-A game of Go starts with an empty board. Each player has an effectively unlimited supply of pieces (called stones), one taking the black stones, the other taking white. The main object of the game is to use your stones to form territories by surrounding vacant areas of the board. It is also possible to capture your opponent's stones by completely surrounding them.Players take turns, placing one of their stones on a vacant point at each turn, with Black playing first. Note that stones are placed on the intersections of the lines rather than in the squares and once played stones are not moved. However they may be captured, in which case they are removed from the board, and kept by the capturing player as prisoners.Go Game Contents1 Playing Board361 Stones (181 Black & 180 White)2 Plastic Tray

Decent
The first thing I noticed was that the board has a strong seal when closed, making it ideal for travel. The stones are held in nice little cases keeping them sorted and protected. That being said, there were still many scuffs and manufacturing blemishes on most of the black pieces and some of the white one. Additionally, because of the method of storage, the white stones have a small dark circle on top of each from rubbing again the magnet of another stone. There is an extra bag with extra stones in it. Only 2 stones had lost their magnets upon arrival, which I was please about because my other magnetic go board I own had more than a dozen missing magnets. I found the printing on the board didn’t quite line up perfectly but a small push on the side lined it back up with ease. I appreciate the stone’s crisp ridges as it makes picking the stones up off the table decently easy. The magnetic strength of the stones is sufficient to keep them from moving when the board is tilted or flipped upside down. This is a fantastic travel game for anyone who likes deep strategy.

Portable , good for travel or outdoors.
I like the portability and the magnetic top works well for bumpy travel usage. I still plan to buy a large table top version, but this one works well.

Loose magnets, stone cases don't close
While it's fun to play and easy to carry around, the boxes for the stones pop open when placed inside the board and spill everywhere. Several of the magnets were loose and fell out of the stones before the first use as well. However, it is probably the best affordable option for this game and I would still recommend it if you don't want to spend too much money on it

Game board is fine, how to play directions meager.
There’s no problem with the game board and stones, however my husband and I are still trying to understand strategies of play. The internet has been helpful, but we’ve hesitated to spend $18 to buy a book that might be more helpful.

Magnets fell out of some pieces
There were definitely some issues with the glue on the white pieces on this batch. The magnets fell out of 16/(181+6) pieces and 1/(181+6) black pieces. Nothing a dab of superglue won't fix, but still a little annoying.
