Review of : Non Slip Bathtub Mat,Rubber Baby Bath Tub Shower Mat with Strong Suction Cups (A Little Grey) - I purchased this item more than 2 months ago. As an older adult, I got this mat to help avoid slipping in the shower. - This mat is indeed heavier weight gauge material than is typical for a rubber bathmat. Mine is a little over 3 lbs according to my kitchen scale. Although heavier, it is not cumbersome. -At 36"x17" this mat nicely covers the tub floor in my typical apartment style bathtub/shower. The tub is smooth fiberglass. -The mat is indeed very stable to stand on while I am showering. When I shower, I put the mat in the dry tub, and then just shower. The suction cups work fine and the mat is stable. -I typically drape the mat longwise on the side of the tub to dry it out after showering. I also usually, in a few hours, flip it over so the other side dries too. I have never had mold issues doing this method, including with my previous, similar mat. -The texture pattern is mildly firm. It is plenty comfortable enough - especially given how much traction and stability the mat provides. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The mat is well designed and nice quality.

This bathmat is generously sized and covers most of my standard 1950's size bathtub. Having that extra bit of room helps prevent my rambunctious toddler from slipping easily, so that is a definite plus. There are a lot of suction cups on the bottom of this mat, so it holds in place very well. I also love the texture on the mat; the company says it is for "massage", but it really feels like it is for extra grip, which is great for a jumping kid as well (not that jumping in a tub is recommended...). I thought I saw on the product information that you could machine wash the mat, but it was not written anywhere on the product or information page that came in the box, so I don't know if that part is legit. But, so long as you let it air dry after use and occasionally rinse it off, it wouldn't really be necessary to machine wash. While there was that distinct tire shop smell upon opening, after sitting out for about a day, the odor faded.

Bought this when transitioning my baby’s baths from the sink to the tub and it’s been perfect! It’s long enough to fit the entire bottom of our regular size tub. We hang it up after every bath and for the past 8 months we have had zero issues with mold or oder or anything like that. Even with doing that there have not been any signs of wear and tear either.

Like that the mat does not feel like it has little bubbles in it and it kind of marks your behind when you sit on it and it stays in place very well I'm happy thank you

Perfect bath mat for the tub. Not too big or small. Fits standard size tub. Love that it doesn't have holes where hair can get stuck.

Bathtub mat was exactly as described. Arrived quickly, sticks wll to bottom of tub without moving or sliding. Well priced. Ok for soaking but not much padding. Would order again.

I loved this at first! But it is so hard to clean! The suction is super tight I’ve never had a problem with it slipping around. It’s very long and nice to have. I got this since my baby was very crazy in her tub I decided to have her In the regular bathtub instead of her own. She never slipped or had any problems but having hard water/ and/or well water makes cleaning very hard. The small cracks are hard to get inside and scrub. I’ve tried different products (miracle cleaner, Dr bronner, baking soda and vinegar) & it is just to hard to get everything off or in between every crack. Maybe I wasn’t cleaning it enough. I would buy again tbh. It’s just very difficult to clean almost everyday when you have kiddos to tend to with other cleaning needs as well. Still love it but definitely something you have to maintain and clean almost daily.

I am a below the amputee and I have to sit on a chair with a pull-down shower head to shower. I knew this would be too long and it wouldn't be wide enough to keep my chair from slipping. So I had to turn it sideways which was my plan so that my chair would grip the mat. But it crinkles up on the top and it does collect mold on the bottom so you have to definitely clean it. Regularly. It's just like any other rubber mat. Nothing special but it works for my purpose laying sideways and trim down to fit.

This mat is nice and long and sticks well and is non-slip. Very comfortable

Long enough to cover the bottom of tub with zero slipping . Lots of colours to choose from from . Would buy again but I think it’s going to last for many years

Good non slip mat. Stays put and doesn’t move when your in the tub. Wished it was thicker, as you can feel the suction cups underneath.

This Bath Mat seems to be of good quality and stays put. If you wet the bottom of the tub as stated and then step on the mat to press it down, it doesnt move. It has a vary faint rubber smell and they say to rinse it first. It's not a concern at all, you don't smell it. I drape it over the tub to dry when done. It's a nice size and feels good under foot. Should have bought one 10 years ago. The design is nice and the light grey goes with my bathroom. Would recommend.

I'd bought several bathmats locally and all were useless....they didn't adhere well to the tub, they flapped around the edges and the worst one had such an awful smell! Despite soaking in bicarb, running it through the washing machine and hanging outside, I couldn't eliminate the smell. This non-slip rubber mat is the best I've ever bought. It adheres well to the tub, it is definitely not slippery and it has no obnoxious smell. I highly recommend this product.
