Small and very strong spring good quality for the price

I just finished making my jumper cables. These are well built clamps and I am sure they will do the job if I need them.

Nice set of clamps. Seem to be of good quality. I haven’t had to use them yet as of this review. I just installed them. The provided stakons are too wide to fit in the clamp and don’t hold the copper well. If u do happen to bend them into place the bolt would stick out not allowing rubber on clamp to fit properly and would eventually make a hole rendering the rubber insulation useless. I ended up securing the wire on insulation with the tabs on clamps and soldering the copper wire to the clamp. Note to buyer… be prepared to solder in place to install properly. Worked great like that.

Received them right away and installed them. They are sturdy and the spring in them is very strong.

I've bought the 100A and 500A size of these Linkstyle replacement clamps and am impressed with the quality. I bought the 500A first, and was so impressed with the quality that I bought the smaller 100A ones to replace the stock clamps on my battery charger even though it was nearly new. They are significantly better than the cheap clamps that came on it.The springs are strong on both sizes and the insulation for the handles is high quality. The insulation is a thick flexible plastic material, not hard plastic which might tend to break. I also like that they do not over-package these clamps. They come simply sealed in a plastic bag. No wasteful foam, cardboard or box to be thrown away.I highly recommend these clamps.

First order was defective for one of the clamps. Contacted the manufacturer and they offered to refund half. That didn't make sense, since I need a positive and a negative cable. Thankfully, Amazon replaced the order with a new set. These are solidly built. However, they smell like gasoline, even months after purchase. Have to wonder whether this is a health hazard.

I always have issues buying items online not realizing the size. My bad, not the products fault. These things look like you could hook up an oil rig with them. I cannot squeeze the clamp open with my right hand, it takes both hands. What I need is something about 1/3 this size, to use on a battery charger. Trying to attach a couple of pics. These are bad mama jama'z but not suitable for my application.

I put these clamps on my portable winch, I use it mostly with my car hauler. The jaws open fairly wide and I like the copper "teeth" but most of all I like the strong grip they have. They are not real heavy duty feeling and are kind of easy to bend, I did so while putting the wires on them. But the they straightened right out and I feel like I'll get good use out of them, being mindful of their limitations and being gentle with them. I plan on buying another set for my garden tank sprayer and maybe more?

Bought them to replace cheap plastic pair that came with lithium battery booster I bought. Plastic ones broke first use. These seem to be much better.

Returned since not quite what I was expecting needed a different size

It was missing the bolts and connector clips.Ended up making my own clips and buying bolts from hardware store. Easier than returning.
