I purchased this set specifically for the lid magnet. It fell apart straight out of the box. I put it back on, and it ended up coming off on a lid. I had to open all the lids to find it before canning.

The funnel was cracked and broken. The rest of the set is functional just not the best quality. I guess you get what you pay for.

I lost my jar grabber. Could not find one anywhere in town. From experience, I don’t advise using tongs to pick hot quarts up out of boiling water. I found this set here. It was delivered quickly and I am ready to can again this weekend. This set has everything I need and more.

I have not had a chance to try everything yet, but the things that I have tried are great! I love how the kit includes a jar opener, labels and tongs. All things that you need in the kitchen but doesn’t have to be used strictly for canning! I can’t wait to try out all of the other items!

Lid lifter magnet came off on the second HOT lid I was trying to lift. Wasn't expecting to have an essential piece become useless right out of the box.

Awesome set but packaging sucked. I bought a cheaper set at a store and it’s packaging was beautiful with canning directions. This set was a gift I was embarrassed that the packaging sucked.
