I wasn’t expecting to love a sink plug, but this pop-up drain stopper with built-in hair catcher is genuinely one of the most useful little upgrades I’ve made in the bathroom. I was constantly dealing with slow drains and pulling hair out of the trap — not fun. This plug solves both problems in one. Installation was a breeze — no tools, no plumbing experience needed. You literally just press it into place, and it instantly transforms your old drain. The bounce mechanism is responsive and feels solid. Push to close, push to open — super smooth. It fits snugly providing perfect water retention and looks much more modern than my old plastic stopper. This item surpassed my expectations! My current chrome plug had started to lose the chrome and was pitted etc, I think it had reacted to some bleach, which has never happened before, anyway I saw these and gave them a go. So simple, just drop it in after removing the spindle, you leave the body of the old plug in, so no fiddling around under the sink, I thought the water might seep away but it doesn’t, the plug isn’t actually held in, you can just pick it up for easy cleaning, but the sink stays full. Amazing!! Also it looks great. So the next time I put some bleach in the sink, I can just pull it out and put it back in later when the cleaning is finished. I got 2 and both work really well. This item replaced the old plug system which had corroded. It just drops into rhe plug hole and works very well.
