There are a lot of reviews surprised its a leather and rubber combo. Its quite clear from the pics it is. Its nice and soft and feels like thd original garmin leather strap. The leather is not described as genuine leather (i would suggest looking that term, its does not mean leather as you would imagine it). So could be pleather but feels and look nice. Ill have to se how ig patinas though.

I mean, it might be leather (I’m not sure), but it looks like cheap plastic. The Garmin original leather strap is much more expensive - and looks it. Three stars because I shouldn’t have expected much at this price point

The band doesn't looks bad, but not good either. On your skin, you have definitely rubber - a good part of the black rubber is even visible while you wear it.

I bought this as a stand in replacement for the brown leather strap that came with my Garmin EPIX smart watch. Garmin want over £100 for their own replacement. Upon opening the package I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality however, the finish of strap is very good. The stitching, inner rubberised section and the black edging are all holding up very well. For a point of reference, I wear this watch daily, for work and also play golf twice a week and record my scores etc. on the watch. So far this strap has held up better than the OEM supplied item.

Expected a leather wrist band. It isn’t.

In the pictures it looks like a proper leather strap. In the flesh it’s a horrible plasticky looking thing. I’d expect it from an £8 strap, but not at £18.99. Avoid.

Not quite what I expected, doesn't fit properly and not that comfortable to wear.

Strange how leather changes into plastic in the post . I bet cows don't transfer that easily !

Das Armband hat eine sehr gute Qualität. Ich achte bei günstigen Produkten, vor allem, wenn es sich um Textil handelt, auf den Geruch. Manchmal riecht man förmlich die Chemie!Bei diesem Armband riecht hier nichts unangenehm.Ich kann außerdem berichten, dass das Band sehr anschmiegsam ist. Wie es sich verhält, wenn es länger getragen wird, kann man erst hinterher sehen. Aber so kann ich jetzt erst mal nicht negatives berichten.Klare Kaufempfehlung.
