I purchased this light in May 2018. As a Floridian and a former fishing guide, I love walking out on my dock at night and seeing fish -- particularly snook. Due to hurricanes and other anomalies, I did not actually install or use this light until January 2023. I have greatly enjoyed it for the last several months, but as of now, November 2023, it does not work. Until the date of installation, the unit stayed dry in a box in storage. If the unit has a finite shelf life, it is a narrow window. I am now in the market for a new underwater light.

Purchased this for my husband to use on our dock. It was easy to install and so far is working great. Make sure that you really tighten the ties that hold the weight to the plug or the weight will slip causing the light to float up to the top of the water. We readjusted them, tightened and added an extra zip tie and it's holding fine.

Mounting hardware failed so control unit fell onto dock then water. Would not recommend.

This light is great! High quality construction and it attracts fish! I have friends with the cheap led versions and there's no comparison. After continuous use for three months, I experienced a problem with the light. It would come on for 30 seconds and then go off. I contacted their customer service through the Amazon app and got immediate responses. We tried a few troubleshooting solutions that didn't help. I boxed up the light and sent it back for service. They diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. The light was back in my hands and working within 48 hours. Fantastic customer service! Worth the money for quality.

I never leave reviews but the customer service alone is worth it ! Bought this for my hubby for Christmas and finally dropped it in April. Our pier is new and this light brought tons of fish fast !! It is super bright ! About 2 weeks in it stopped working. Talked to Brad in customer service and within a weeks time , we shipped it to him and had it back. Buy the light , you won’t regret it !

Does produce a nice green light, however it only last 20 months not the 4 to 5 years as advetised nor would it stay clean, about ever 4to 6 months clean off the barincales,,,,but with that said,,, i would buy another one

Bought the light May 23, 2022. Had it installed and it worked good. Stopped working last week. I went down to verify it still had power at the GFI receptacle. It did. I'm assuming the bulb has already went out. Didn't last very long.Contacted customer service and they walked me through some things to check. Sure enough there was a dirt dobber nest inside of the control box. Cleaned it out and it works great now.

I have some complaints, see attached photos. First of all my first complaint is that the transformer that has to be plugged into a GFI receptacle is too big to fit in a standard outdoor weather protected box. This should be stated in the description.Second, I don’t have barnacles which is good but I do have seaweed growing on the top of the light after the first month of use. Third issue which I have reached out to customer service for help. Is that the photoelectric sensor has filled with water and gunk so that the light stays on 24-7 unless I unplug it. At this rate the light will be useless to me very soon. It’s already annoying. I will update the review when I hear back from customer service.UPDATE customer service immediately sent out a new photoelectric sensor that looks to be an upgrade. This one looks to have much better sealant to prevent water intrusion. I’m grateful for there attention to this matter and sure this will resolve the main issue. Increased the star rating from 2 to 4 to reflect this.
