I updated my speaker from the previous LG speaker I had. I've heard good things about JBL but I only realised the difference after listening. Such clarity! Amazing bass. The Bluetooth connectivity is solid. The signal strength is also quite good. I only had issues with the JBL software. It's just not user friendly. Also there is some issue connecting with the charger, but that's probably the connector issue. All in all the speaker sound is very clear. Taking calls is good and clear but only if the speaker is close to you. It's good for emergencies but not every day usage. Good value for money and a solid allrounder.

I received my JBL speaker in excellent condition and in the original packaging. It came within a reasonable period of time. I compared this speaker to others, and decided to buy it based on the other reviews. Good decision, in hindsight. I am not disappointed in any way. In fact, I am quite delighted. If I could give this little speaker more than five stars, I would go for ten out of ten. It is solid for the size, and feels quite sturdy.No shabby, cheap construction here. The speaker charges quickly. The Bluetooth connection was quick, and effortless. I played music while connected to my iPad. The sound is crisp and clear at any volume setting. You can hear the distinct tones of any melody. Of course, the quality of sound still depends on the quality of the original recording. The speaker does not take much room at all.The sound is simply amazing for a speaker this size. No sound distortion when I tried it at the highest volume setting possible. That is, until my wife told me to turn the sound down :( This mighty little speaker fills my livingroom with sound effortlessly. My speaker is black, light and waterproof. In my day, a person would have to pay thousands of dollars for sound of this quality. I have not tried dropping it yet, but apparently it is shock proof as well. Only a matter of time before I test the construction in this way :)I am rediscovering music, and my music collection, all over again. That’s how excellent this speaker is. My kudos to the engineers and all those who designed, tested and built this JBL speaker. I finally have the quality of sound I have been searching for all these years, and at an excellent price.

I can’t say enough great things about this speaker! I’ve been in the market for another portable speaker since my other one died about 6 months ago. I did a ton of research and decided to go with this speaker. Most important to me was sound quality, battery life and it had to be waterproof since I spend a lot of time around the water.Sound quality: AMAZING. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and this speaker can be heard easily throughout the space even when it’s only turned up halfway. The bass is also very good and doesn’t sound the least bit distorted even at the highest volumes. Crystal clear sound regardless of volume level.Battery life: I fully charged this thing once I got it. It takes about 4 hours to charge but lasts forever. I had it playing for about 14 hours straight at a mid level volume and it was still going strong when I turned it off. Best battery life of a portable speaker I’ve ever seen.Waterproof: I had it outside on my porch and it started raining and still worked like a charm. I plan on taking it down the river with me while kayaking or tubing this summer and think it will work perfectly.Overall, I highly recommend this speaker and it is worth every penny.
