PRGR Portable Golf Launch Monitor

Amazing! I wanted this more for club head speed rather than club distances to start with as I was confused how I carry a 7 iron with 30.5 deg loft 165 yards consistently via trackman with SS 88-90 mph but my driver distance was poor at about 200-220, I thought there was something not right. This device revealed with swinging without a ball that my Swing speed with the driver was only 86-88 mph on average and 92 when I swung as hard as I coukd. The readings were consistent and correlated to the SS Vs driver distance on all the charts therefore I knew it was fundamentally something wrong with my swing technique with the driver. The next day I concentrated on the body moves and and mental image of where to release the club via internet and this device gives instant feedback what swing moves increase club head speed without the inconvenience of hitting a ball. In a 1 hour session experimenting, I got my swing speed up to 102mph and when I slipped back to old ways now and again, you can see the swing speed drop to what it was which shows the device is very consistent. I can't praise this device enough, especially at this price range and the fact that you can take it on the course with you too and it's so small and mobile. A must have for any keen golfer at any level. This device is not a gimmick!

The launch monitor is for its price probably the best on the market, certainly best I’ve used. Simple but effective! My only issue is that I bought a pack of Duracell batteries which were listed by Amazon under frequently bought together only to find they’re the wrong size. AA were listed and that’s what I got, however the unit takes AAA size batteries - my fault for not checking I guess, but I feel Amazon should check too before listing on the item links.

I bought this initially to gap my irons (carry distance) and judging by the balls that land around the 150 yards marker on my driving range, the device appears to be pretty accurate. However when I first used the device, it wouldn't pick up any of my driver shots but when I tried this club again a week later, everything was registering and has done ever since. I feel for under £200, this is a very good launch monitor for the money and perfect for cheaper driving ranges which don't have Top Tracer or Skytrak. My only gripe is similar to another reviewer in that despite being mentioned in the product description, NO batteries or NO case were included.

Great portable launch monitor with very good accuracy readings for every hit. Its small easy to use different functions/modes etc make this device top choice for measuring swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, carry, estimated, total distance etc, and it can measure distance in either yards or kph and best of all is the price as its nearly as good as launch monitors which cost thousands more. Highly recommended. Love it.

I'm not sure it very accurate. So certainly measure differences in swing speed speed as if I really go at it the measured number is higher, but my my standard swing is low 60s according to this with a 7 iron but the trackman at the range gives me a ball speed of 100mph which would mean a smash factor of 1.6 if that was true which it simply can't be . So its either underquoting me or I defy the physics of golf clubs

USED!! Already opened previously and did not work, would not even turn on!! For this kind of money I want and expect a NEW item!

Bought this to use down the driving range. Seconds to set up, switch it on and you're ready to go. Measure the swing speed of your club, the ball speed, distance with and without carry and smash factor. Use it anywhere, it's so portable it's unreal! Happy I bought it and I used it against a well known thousands of pounds machine and the differences were minimal.

I purchased the PRGR Launch Monitor about a month ago. I bought it primarily for speed swing training and short game like pitching and chipping. It has been great for my intended use. I love that I don't need an app to use it. The screen is very clear and easy to read even in bright sunlight. I have also used it for full swings on the range and it seems accurate. It is very easy to use and offers a great amount of data. As I mentioned I use it a lot for chipping and pitching so it really helps with my shorter distances as well as better tempo for those shots. For the price, this is a great budget launch monitor that will definitely help you with a variety of shots. It is small and very portable is it fits quite easily in your golf bag without taking up a lot of space. It takes batteries to power it so ensure you have extra batteries on hand for when it starts running low. I am not sure what that time frame is but just be aware of the power source. I would definitely recommend this as it is easy to use and easy to set up on the range.

I liked this product. It does what it professes to do and it is affordable. It is simple to operate. It would be nice if it provided angle of attack and spin rates, but presumably those functions would cost more.
