This thing broke after trying to tighten only hand tight. 3-D print job is way too thin/brittle. Figure it out.

Upgraded screws from the countersunk screws, used washer and a nylon nuts. Countersunk screw might have damage the plastic collar after repeated tightening. Nylon nuts added so you never lose them.

I can’t honestly give a 5 star review simply because I haven’t used it yet. However, after looking at the quality of it, I have great expectations on its performance.

Doesn’t seal, is fragile, breaks immediately. Don’t waste your money. I’m working out a solution on my own.

The product concept is good. The lid does stay down. The material used for printing, however, is very fragile. I torqued the screw, just a little too hard, and the cheap thin material just broke. Hopefully Northern Brewer will produce a better quality product to sell along with their lids. Until then, just use velcro straps around the top of the lid.

The media could not be loaded. This fits well on the 6.5L Big Mouth Bubbler ("BMB"). Without this, the cap is lifted and air freely gets in into the jar.This is very easy to install and remove.I had to reach out to customer service twice and responses have been super fast and supportive.I would recommend this product to all those who have BMB and a great addition to the home distillery!

Be careful before you buy. This does NOT work on the 6.5 gallon GLASS big mouth bubbler. I can only assume it works on the plastic one as I use only glass. I wasted my money. I ordered 2 and one of them wasn't even drilled out! Both are going in the garbage.
