great filter but shorter life span than original OEM
This is my first time using non OEM filters and after about 2 months of use I noticed a change in water quality and water pressure. The water pressure at the faucet was reduced and I discovered more calcium buildup on the sinks and faucet aerators which indicated that more calcium was passing through the filter than I expected. The OEM filter I usually bought directly from AquaPure/3M always lasted around 6 months, while this filter showed signs of weakening performance after 2 months already. I have the 4-pack so we will see how much use I get out of the remaining 3 filters.
