An extremely moisturizing lip balm that feels lovely on the lips. It squeezes out of a tube and has a tilted, flat surface to allow for an easy glide across the lips. Squeeze only the slightest bit of balm out because that is all you will need to cover your lips.It leaves the lips with a jelly layer that is very rich in emollients. Sooths the lips fast and is very healing. I've also noticed that it will leave a pretty iridescent glow over the lips that is somewhat pearlescent. Usually I like to allow for enough balm to cover just outside of my lip area for extra protection. With this, I don't like doing so because it looks like I have a low riding milk line that is whitish in appearance. Because of this, some men might not be too thrilled about this unless they are wearing this to the beach or some other very sunny outdoors activity. Women may love the look. I know that I do.As long as you aren't eating this stuff off or doing something else that causes it to rub away, it is long lasting. A wonderful treatment for your lips, whether inside or outdoors.

Being that I am a lip balm addict, when I saw this available on Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is of: Mineral Ally Hydra Lip Masque SPF 15 Cloud Nine.This balm is unlike almost every other balm I've tried. It comes in a tube and it comes out white. Once it's applied and absorbed the white goes away and you're left with a thin coating of protection on your lips. If you're not eating or drinking this balm stays on for a while and continues providing that protection for at least a few hours.It goes on smoothly, it doesn't have that lumpy or chunky wax tasting thing going on that so many balms have. What it also has is peppermint zing to it, enough so that your lips get to tingling. I was surprised by that at first but I loved it and I bet you will too.I like this lip treatment quite a bit, but it's a bit too expensive for me to purchase again. The price is my only issue with this product.

This Soleil Toujours Mineral Ally Hydra Lip Masque (Broad Spectrum SPF 15) in Cloud Nine is mineral sunblock for the lips with zinc oxide and is also a lip moisturizer. This feels like it has an oil base but also has some white that’s like a very light lotion too. It glides on easily and isn’t thick or heavy. It feels like it melts into my lips, and the white color disappears quickly without any need to rub it in. Only a light application is needed.This has no typical sunscreen smell or taste, and it seems good for any gender. This lip mask smooths my lips and adds a little shine like a super lightweight gloss that isn’t sticky or goopy at all. It leaves just a thin layer that feels hydrating and keeps my lips feeling moist and conditioned. I generally like the texture and feel of the formula a lot.The one issue for me is I get a strong cooling sensation from peppermint oil that feels mildly irritating as my lips sting and burn lightly. But they don’t get dry or flakey like they can from some lip products. I also have a tinted version (Indochine) that isn’t irritating and feels more comforting for some reason. It has peppermint oil too but it doesn’t seem as strong. But I can’t say exactly why it feels better to my sensitive lips.I love that this lip mask has sunscreen, many good ingredients and no added chemical fragrance or flavor. This is listed as having a coconut scent, but I (thankfully) don’t smell or taste coconut (though it has coconut oil). If there is a coconut scent, I just don’t smell it and it must be overpowered by the peppermint. This is a nice product though the tinted Indochine version is better for me as I do get slight irritation from this one. Like it. 4 stars.

I had the opportunity to try a tinted version of this as well and the formula, as far as it's effectiveness and moisturizing abilities, seem the same except I do prefer this one over the tinted. Though, note that this does have a bit of a white look to it- for me, I don't mind but I know others understandably might not. I don't find it to be really white like sun-block, though- only a little. It's very hydrating and has a great consistency for a lip mask. It's not necessarily sticky like some lip-glosses...but it has enough stick that it stays on the lips for a bit and feels like a hug on them. It's feeling like it's a favorite- I"m liking it a lot!

I had never thought to put sunscreen on my lips. After reading about how it's recommended by derms I ordered this. I normally like petroleum based lip balms because of how smooth it makes my lips feel. In contrast this one has jojoba oil as the first ingredient and has just slightest bit stickiness that I don't get from petroleum based balms. It's not terrible but not as smooth as some of my favorite lip balms. This has a slightly minty that tingles for a moment and disappears. As a landscaper, I go out of my way to find moisturizing lippies that can also protect against the sun, as peeling lips from sun exposure is no fun.This was a surprise hit! I had not heard of the brand before, but found I really loved the thick, glossy texture, the way it moisturized well, and the sunscreen. Nice to feel properly girly even while in the landscapes. The color is just a sheer clear with a mild shimmer.
