Crucial 4GB, 260-pin SODIMM, DDR4 PC4-19200,

The laptop came with 4Gb soldered to the board and I looked around various sites trying to find at least another 4Gb of RAM to work on this laptop. The 4Gb was not bad but I needed more. I ordered some memory using the specs of the onboard memory and did not get any boot up with them. So I go on Crucial's website and used their tool for the laptop model and this memory came up. I looked at other sites and Amazon had the better price of all of them. So I ordered it and I installed it. I waited and waited for the laptop to boot up and I was thinking that I will have to send it back like the others, but after a few minutes, it booted up...whew!!! I checked the memory and 8Gb was showing and the laptop was running fine. I checked the speeds and they were perfect. My solution for you, check Crucial's website first and then find it on here and get it, you will be happy that it works like me. I give this an A++++

This was so much easier than I thought it would be to put in. It took a little, figuring out to make sure it was getting exactly the right one but yeah, I did it. I can’t believe how inexpensive and easy it was.

I had purchased a very capable Acer Aspire 5 laptop with 4GB of memory. I decided to double the ram by adding this Crucial 4GB memory stick. It cost me about $20 USD at the time I purchased it. I am so glad I did. The laptop runs so much smoother now. It always started up fast, but now it is a much faster startup. I can keep more programs open without any of them slowing down. I can also keep more tabs open on my browser. With this upgrade, there was an added bonus of more shared video memory, (5GB total, 2GB dedicated, 3GB shared), that helps my programs like Youtube, Zoom, and watching movies, run much smoother. I can only comment on gaming from the basic games I play. They run smooth without any choppiness. I can not find any negatives about this upgrade as it has been a very positive experience. I highly recommend this Crucial memory.

Just ensure you have the correct frequency to match your existing RAM, also do a quick check to see how many slots on your board are occupied. Just use task manager to check the details. I had a single 16GB stick and so I added another 8GB, same frequency and class but different sizes still work's perfectly. You will have some degree of performance hit since when running dual-channel memory the smaller stick hits its cap first but it is not noticeable in day-to-day work, perhaps in synthetic benchmarks, though your mileage may vary. If you have a very low RAM, to begin with, like 8GB you wanna check your board limits. If you have less than 8GB you probably want to prioritize changing the computer entirely if possible. Installation is dead easy, it's probably harder to open up your laptop Worth considering doing multiple upgrades at once if you are going through the trouble yourself

I've had my HP notebook for 7 years and I have finally decided to upgrade my ram to 8gb. My laptop runs faster and is no longer a pain to load up. My model is 17-x121dx and it was a struggle to figure out how to open it. There are two screws under the rubber feet. I thought I had found all the "secret" screws and attempted to open my laptop. However, I busted a little plastic piece that had a small hook to the battery compartment (battery was all ready taken out). So if you have a laptop like mine, there are two other "secret" screws underneath the sticker strip that has the model number and warranty. If I had known that, the process definitely would have been easier. There are a total of 14 screws.

I had 4 GB of RAM in my computer. I added an additional 4 GB and it made my system run much faster. I did have a little trouble installing it myself. The video I watched made it look so easy - just insert and press - but mine wasn't that smooth. It didn't seem like it wanted to go in unless I got it just right. I was a little nervous about opening up my computer myself to do this, but I found a YouTube video and followed their directions. I definitely will add more RAM in the future when necessary. In years past, I just dealt with being aggravated due to slowness. This was definitely worth the price tag.

Added this stick of 4GB memory to my HP 14-DF0023CL. Kept the original 4GB and added this stick. So now I have a total of 8 GB RAM. To install you need to remove 4 hidden screws on the bottom and two visible screws. The hidden screws are underneath the rubber skid pads. Works great. My Asustor 5304T could take another RAM card in order to increase performance, and recommended this one for that purpose. Ordering it was simple and once it arrived, the hardest part was having enough space in the Asustor to get my fingers to manipulate the card in place. That said, once in, the card was detected immediately upon boot-up and I've had it running for a couple of years now - no issue. I've always had good experience with Crucial Ram sticks.

Es la primera vez que uso un producto de la marca crucial pero cuando la comencé a usar supero mis espectativa ya que si mejoro mucho el rendimiento de una laptop Dell Inspiron 5565 con un procesador AMD el cual al momento de ser instalada detecto el dual channel el cual mejoro mucho en los tiempos de respuesta así como en rendimiento en graficos.
