Nice, but a bit expensive for what it is
I have a number of folders and all the stuff to sharpen them to a fine edge. But, setting it all up and doing it takes a lot of time, so when I saw this knife with replaceable blades, I bought it to use for incidental chores around the house & shop. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews, but I've had none of the problems others said they had. Some say the blade rattles, mine doesn't. Others said it comes open in their pocket, mine doesn't, and the mechanism to keep the blade closed seems pretty robust. The workmanship seems first rate and it has features found on larger folders, e.g., a well performing liner lock, flipper for opening the blade, etc. However, while the flipper works well, finding a way to hold this little guy while opening it is a bit of an issue - it is small, and my hands fit a large glove size. But I finally got the hang of it, and I like the small size. One downside is the blade retention system takes up a lot of space and the part closest to the handle and prevents slicing through thick items. And finally, I think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but I'll keep it anyway.

Exceeded expectations
After reading the reviews I was leery of purchasing this. Iโm glad I did. I really like this knife. I use it every day and always carry it. I was worried about it opening in my pocket but it stays firmly closed. It looks really nice and is well crafted. Perfect amount of resistance and flips open perfectly. I wouldโve expected to pay a lot more for a knife this nice.

Nice, tiny and lightweight
I own quite a few knives and this became one of my favorites the moment I got it. It is very light, 31 grams on my scale, and the action is very smooth. It seems to be very well made and comes with extra blades in a small aluminum tin. The only fault I found was that the pocket clip was very tight and didnโt have enough upturn on the tip to slip into my pocket but this was quick easy to correct with a pair of needle nose pliers. Recommend this product.

Handy little tool
This is a handy little tool. It is a bit smaller than I expected, but it does seem pretty well built. The blade that came mounted is very sharp, as expected for a scalpel blade. The detent to hold the blade closed seems adequate and provides enough tension that the blade flips fully open and locks when using the flipper. The opening is smooth, so much so I initially thought the pivot screw must be loose, but there is no play in the blade. I know the description said "titanium" but I didn't really expect the scales to be made of titanium. I can't say for sure if it is actually titanium, but it is very light, not magnetic (except for the screws and blade), so maybe it is? I don't think aluminum would hold up in the thin "spring" area of the liner lock. I would recommend using two hands to close it as the small size and sharp blade could easily result in an accident. The only reason I dropped one star was that I also ordered some #36 blades to use in this so I had a blade with a straighter edge, but the tip on those sticks out the end when folded. You may have to stick to the included #24 blades. Overall, I'm quite impressed. It will be really nice to just swap a blade out when it is dull rather than pulling out the sharpening stones. I'll probably look for another similar design with a slightly longer body that will hopefully cover the tip of the #36 blades I bought rather than buying another one of these, but I think this is going to be a very handy tool to have around.

Great little super-sharp knife
This is a great little super-sharp knife to have with you all the time. Certainly there are some tasks for which a full-sized knife are needed. But for quick little tasks this is great. You never need to sharpen it. If it gets dull you safely dispose of the blade that's on it and mount a new scalpel blade. One thing I did notice is that the screws at the front, where the blade pivots, became loose after hundreds of openings. This made the blade path wrong and the blade would strike the handle of the knife on closing. The fastener is a T8 Torx. I removed it, put a dab of purple LocTite 222 on it, and put it back in. You can't crank it down tight or the knife won't open. Pick a tightness that gives you a good opening action. Then let the LocTite cure. Perfect. Thanks for such a great little knife.

Convenient
This will probably sound nuts but this is my favorite knife. I own hundreds and this little guy goes with me everywhere clipped to my pants. It's very small, would be nice if it was just a little bigger but I adore the fact that I don't sharpen the blade. One more chore gone. When it's dull,I just pop in a new surgical steel blade and I'm ready to go again.

Do NOT use Scalpel Blade Size #22 With This Knife!!
This knife is advertised for use with scalpel blade sizes #22/23/24, but when using size #22 blades (which are what I purchased it for, and is what is pictured in the blade-extended photo) the blade tip and edge is DANGEROUSLY exposed outside of the handle when fully closed (the other two photos), which could too easily cause serious bodily injury or cut clothing, pockets, etc. as size #22 blades do not sit down fully into the handle. I returned this knife and am purchasing one that I think truly does allow for safe use of size #22 scalpel blades. So, if you are thinking of using size #22 blades with this knife, don't trust what was written in the product description (product information photo), and save yourself time and find one that really does!
