Finished crocheting every pattern in this book.I am glad to see someone in the same caliber as PK, and designing new doilies so quickly. I have been crocheting for years and appreciate new patterns that are challenging.

Absolutely beautiful designs. Directions are very well written. I’ve made three of Ms Fearon’s designs and they have turned out exactly as pictured.

4.5 stars. These beautiful and highly-textured doily designs for advanced/expert crocheters are clearly written and include close-up pictures of the finished doilies. I have made several of these designs and the results are excellent. This book would get a 5 star rating if it included charts, which would add another level of clarity to the instructions and would assist those less familiar with American English crochet terms.

Beautiful but difficult

I cannot praise this book enough. The patterns are exceptional with a really up-to-date look, particularly the use of colour. I shall definitelypurchase Grace Fearon's book 2 as soon as it appears.

BEAUTIFUL designs

sind die hier vorgestellten Muster. Ich habe mich teilweise schwer getan mit den Anleitungen, die fast nur aus Abkürzungen bestehen. Mein Englisch ist recht gut, aber es empfiehlt sich, vor dem Arbeiten die Anleitungen zu übersetzen, dann ist es einfacher. Das erste Deckchen, das ich daraus gefertigt habe, ist jedoch sehr hübsch geworden.Ein Manko für mich war, dass keine Skizze oder Zeichnung enthalten ist, denn die enthaltenen Bilder sind leider nicht so anwenderfreundlich. Z.B. wären Detailaufnahmen an manchen Stellen mehr als hilfreich gewesen, dann hätte man vielleicht daraus die Arbeitsschritte noch leichter ableiten können.Daher einen Punkt Abzug.Fazit: Dieses Büchlein ist eher sehr fortgeschrittenen Häklerinnen zu empfehlen.
