Replacement for my failed Ooni pizza stone, a lot cheaper and does the job better. Has lasted a lot longer too !

Decent quality, and decent delivery time etc, but it doesn't fit in an Ooni Freya 12 pizza oven, so don't waste your time if that's what it's for.

My Ooni 12's pizza stone cracked in half when I tried to gently wash it in the sink. I got this a replacement. It is the same thickness and size and worked as well as Ooni. I have only used it once but will use it again tomorrow. Hopefully, it holds up better than the Ooni stone. Hopefully, my Poolish looks good tomorrow and my dough works out.

6 mm thick version is far from a perfect fit for ooni fyra 12. Beware !!
Somewhat disappointed as this stone is described as A replacement stone for the ooni Fyra 12. First of all it is too thick. Maybe the 4 mm thick one is a better fit but I had to use a rubber mallet to softly knock and patiently force this into the opening of the oven. Once inside (which I can’t stress enough was a major operation and very easily could break the stone and the oven) it is the correct width and length 13.2 by 13.2 but it is the incorrect thickness. Again I stress DO NOT BUY the 6mm thick one for a fyra 12. Maybe the 4 mm is the correct one but why is this one specified as a direct replacement for the ooni stone??? I honestly don’t even know why I bothered to force it in the oven but I had guests over and really wanted to use it over the weekend. Once it was inside the oven I was able to utilize it for its intended use. It is well made and a very nice stone but I can’t stress enough THE 6MM thick one is NOT THE CORRECT SIZE FOR THE OONI FYRA 12. I do not know whether the other size is a better fit or not !! Please correct this in this listing describing the product
