They show that they are more durable and snap back to place and still look like new after removing seedlings. Nope. Not at all. Look just as mangled as the cheap black seedling trays. Dumped dirt all over my floor trying to get the seedlings out, and killed one. Someone should make one from silicone or something, the tools are cute, but that’s it really.

I use at least 100 seed starter trays every season. Seeds start getting planted as early as January for spring transplanting outdoors. Of all the seed trays I own, these are the best. They are the most well thought out trays I've seen. Here's what you get: 13 green bottom trays to hold water, 13 clear plastic seed trays with 12 cells per tray, 13 clear humidity domes at approximately 3" tall compete with snap in vents to allow air circulation when desired, 13 white blank plant labels and two small tools for working with the trays. Here's why I say "well thought out". #1 the humidity domes are significantly taller than any other domes I own. That's great for some seedlings that need to get more humidity even as they grow taller. The water retention trays and the clear seedling trays are well matched. They're designed so that the seedling trays sit slightly above the bottom of the water retention trays - that's perfect for bottom watering which is, IMHO, the best way to water your seedlings. The humidity domes have an adjustable vent which isn't all that unusual but these vents snap in to place and are very secure. That's somewhat unusual. All of the items are solid and should last a number of seasons if cared for properly. All of the materials fit nicely in their shipping box. Makes organization much easier. I laughed when I received my first set of seedling trays and they had a couple of small tools. I don't laugh anymore. Both of the included tools have great use when working with the trays and the seedlings. Two more quick items: #1 Sencico includes a "Starting Your Own Plants" pamphlet which would be very handy for someone just starting with propagating seeds. I don't necessarily agree with everything it says but it's a nice beginners guide. #2 The price - $13.99 - I've paid a lot more for a lot less. These things are great at that price. Highly recommend.

These seed starter trays are more heavy duty than we have used in the past. We will be able to reuse them for a couple of years with care. Nice dome for humidity. Very good value for the price.
