The lug width is 22mm. and the date aperture does not feature a cyclops magnifier. We recommend that all resizing be done by a professional jeweler or watch repair specialist to prevent any unwanted damage to the links or band that will not be covered under warranty.

Q: I have an orient ray that is 41.8 mm and this is supposedly a 44mm. does this wear as large as indicated because my ray wears much smaller? too large?

The case of this watch is 44 mm wide, not counting the crown.

Q: can you take out links

Yes, its a pin link so you can either use a link removal tool (pretty cheap to buy) or even a small pin and a small hammer. I recommend just getting the pin tool as it makes it much easier and prevents damage.
