Decent picture
Good camera. Works in the middle of a field. Tilt and turn function is good and follows humans if detected. You can’t place it too high as it won’t detect a lot. I will probably buy another one to cover another area. Signal is fine where I am. App is easy to use.

Very good quality product and decent app
I bought this IP cam due to its support for ONVIF - an industry standard API for network control of IP camera functionality, such as PTZ features. The reason for the need for ONVIF support was that I could use my own software to control the camera. The use of my own software presents several advantages including being able to control motion detection sensitivity and algorithms used, and to allow recordings to public and self-hosted cloud storage. Therefore, ONVIF support was needed to be able to pan, tilt and zoom the camera via my own software. I can confirm that the ONVIF features worked flawlessly, with the exception of zoom because the IP cam does not support optical zoom (note that the zoom is digital and control of this is not a feature of ONVIF).One disadvantage of using my own software was that 2 way audio was NOT available and the only solution for this was to use Genbolt's software. The 2 way audio along with ONVIF support adds value to this camera, which is already priced very well.In my attached images, you can see the video quality from the camera taken from TinyCam Pro (using RTSP streaming from the camera) and Genbolt's software, respectively. The video had been reduced in quality from the camera's settings but are still very clear and of a decent quality. Those who want even higher quality can configure this from within the camera's inbuilt web server. One disappointment was that the infra red LEDs sensitivity cannot be changed and this resulted in the camera entering night mode while there was still plenty of light. As this is the first IP camera I have ever owned or used, I am not sure how this compares with other budget IP cameras. The camera setup is simple. As mentioned earlier, the IP camera hosts a web server from which connection is made via HTTP access through a web browser (unfortunately, WITHOUT an option to add certificates for HTTPS access). The options, despite being quite obviously translated from Chinese to English, are logically arranged and easy to configure. However, viewing the live feed from the camera is not possible from modern browsers because the web server uses Adobe Flash! What were the developers thinking of?Despite the quirks above, this camera is very good for the price. This is further enhanced by the support for ONVIF and 2 way audio. It is my first time in using an IP camera but I had no difficulties in configuring it to my exact requirements and I am more than happy with it, especially for a price of under £40 GBP.

Impressive!!!
This camera was recommended to my by two friends who (between them) had already bought three of these cameras and were very happy with these. I must admit that I have joined their positive opinion of the Genbolt 4G LTE Solar Security Camera. The installation is a doddle. You literally take the camera out of the box, download the Genbolt app onto your mobile phone, switch the camera on, add it to your app and - it works. This camera does NOT work with WiFi. There is already a SIM card inside the camera. It is actually an eiotclub multi-network data only SIM card, meaning it is capable to connect to different networks and choses the best one considering the position of the camera. There is 300MB pre-paid data on the SIM card, enough to try it out. Then it is super easy to choose a plan. I have chosen 36GB over 12 months, which would be about £6.25 per month if I used 3GB per month. However, being able to chose a data package and not just paying month by month is a great advantage for what I am doing with the camera, which is wildlife observation. I need a bit more data in summer, and less in winter. Past experience with other cameras showed me that on average I do not need more than 2GB per month. One of my friends has decided not to use the provided SIM card. She exchanged it for a mobile phone SIM card from her preferred network provider. She told me that she had encountered no problems whatsoever doing this and the camera is working fine. The quality of this camera is awesome, especially the amazing PTZ facility. I am not aware of any other camera on the market which provides the user with such a versatile camera for this fantastic price (Amazon Prime Day £85) including a very nice solar panel! This camera is working very, very well, in any aspect. The movie clips and the photos look super! I am using HD quality instead of SD quality though, even if this will use up more data. In my case, with my wildlife observation, I will not access the data very often, but I want to see great pictures if something is happening. The only thing I wanted to mention: I am not aware that Genbolt has a cloud service, meaning the recordings are kept on a micro SD card (not included). This might be a problem for people who want to use this camera as a security camera, but it is not a problem for me using it for wildlife observation.I am very happy that I followed my friends' advice and bought this Genbolt 4G LTE Solar Security Camera. Totally recommended!!!

Great price for a good looking camera
Brought for the yard where I have no electricity or WiFi. Really good quality camera with a great picture. Charges with sunlight although you can connect a battery pack to charge it if needed.Features a night or day mode and you can activate a light on it also if needed. The light is very bright. It alerts you if there is any movement immediately.Good WiFi connection, never had a problem with the connection at all. Very quick speed and reliable.Good sized camera, happy with my purchase.

Short cables and unreliable, even when the app says the signal is strong
I bought two cameras, both solar. Absolutely useless! One worked for 1 day, the other worked for 3 days. The support on line was very difficult. The cable that comes with the camera is so short I can’t lift it up on the one camera into the sunlight. I asked support if I can buy a solar panel with a longer lead, and the reply was that the quality would be affected. Haven’t had them up for a week yet, and have spent nearly £200 on cloud packages. I’m not a tech expert, but I would not recommend this camera.
