Works well
I bought it to reduce the light coming from under the door for when my baby sleeps in the day. Works well. Only slight thing the door is a bit more noisy to open and close.

Fits perfectly
The stopper fits perfectly on my door but I am not sure if it could 100% block any smell and sounds coming in to your room.
