Not strong enough for serious offroad riding
Used these racks with Nelson rigg soft bags , they broke near the welds after 1 trip. Fine for commuting ,not offroad.

Not exactly an "exact fit" for 2011 KLR 650.
They fit, but I had to redrill the holes a 1/2 inch wider so the left side would reach bolt holes. Right side fit with a little bending. Good for the price, but definitely chinesium by design.

Simple install on a 2016 KLR650
At first with no instructions and not able to find a vid on YouTube I was a bit miffed, but just looking at the existing photos I figured it out. I took some for your future reference
