Volcano + dinosaurs + missiles = wow, we're already off to a great start here.Oh, and the volcano has sound and light effects and makes steam/water vapor "smoke."This toy is prettay... prettay... prettay epic.You may already know Schleich for its wonderfully imaginative yet realistic playsets similar to Bruder. (Those Germans are dedicated artists when it comes to toys.) This one was fairly quick and easy to assemble. My 5 year-old actually put some of it together on his own. Just a few stickers to deal with. Takes 3 AAA batteries not included, plus 4 small watch batteries (for the glowing boulders), which are actually included.There is a small water compartment to fill that is used to create the smoke effects. There are also volcano and dinosaur sound effects, plus a button to create the volcano rumbling.My son can't stop talking about how much he loves this toy. It might not be cheap price-wise, but there's really nothing like it on the market and it is easy to incorporate other dinosaurs and play figures/vehicles when playing with this. And, it's quality made. If this is the only toy you get your kid for Christmas or a birthday, he/she seriously won't be asking "What else did you get me?""Dang, this is a rad toy." - Adult Female

As others have said, this does not measure up to Schleich quality. The picture instructions are vague in places and there were NO instructions regarding the use of the missiles. My husband had to play around with it to figure out how to make it work. For the price I paid I expected the volcano to erupt on its own. It turns out the user must hit a lever to make the volcano spew out the boulders and rocks. Underwhelming.

Cheap. Breaks easily. Definitely not worth the money.

Bought on Prime Day and saved as my son’s Santa gift and it turned out to be a mistake. One of the big boulders won’t light up, the fog only works every once in a while, and it is so flimsy that every time they pop the boulders out for the volcano, the whole assembly falls apart. To be a Schleich product, it is really lacking the normal quality and of course, the return window is closed. Skip this toy!

This is a nice sized set. It has 32 pieces. This comes with an Ankylosaurus dinosaur toy and Giganotosaurus dinosaur toy. You also get a volcano that vibrates and emits smoke and when it erupts, stones come out. It does require batteries and they are not included. Overall, this set will entertain the dinosaur lovers and what is better, is that there are other sets in the dinosaur series to add on.

It is a great concept, cool looking, lights and sounds are decent. But it just will not stay together. The gates constantly fall off, etc. The two dinos it came with are great quality. But the quality is not there for this price point in my opinion.

Some crucial pieces were missing and box looked to have been opened and re-taped. Also, content bag had been opened...... Grandson was NOT wanting to return it, but there was no steam/water reservoir to be found. He was happy, but YaYa was NOT.

The mist doesn't work and now it's in a pile on my floor with the return window closed. I had high hopes for this toy for my son but I am extremely disappointed and I thought schleich was a good brand.
