I used the hooks to help repair my locs. There can be a bit of a learning curve on using them but they worked well for what I needed.

Bought this recently because I had locd my hair, great product overall. The only thing I would say is that you should be mindful of the rate of crocheting so you don't accidently stab your fingers with the meta part.

I have fine but thickly growing hair, these worked wonderfully.

Durability is a 6/10 needles were too flimsy. Value for the money was good.

So far I love the hooks. They are just sharp enough to fix my dreads. I've had my dreads for a yr so I'm still learning tricks. They are not hard to use at all.

I love you can chose the one you want. This is awesome to use and very convenient.

But one of the tool wasn’t the right size

I've nicked my fingers more times than I can count but these are still the best locking tools I've used so far for insta locs. The metal needles fell out but I very easily super glued them back in. The metal used is weak so they eventually bend and break after frequent use. Luckily I bought extras.
