Very comfortable for me, and seems to be comfortable for my 9lb Rosabel too, although as you can see from the pictures, she's resting in a sitting or leaning position, not 4 paws on the bottom of the bag, so I'm not sure how comfortable she would be on a long hike in this (I plan to use it for only short periods when she's tired of walking and needs a break, or when in a shop). Wide strap and lightweight makes it easy for me to wear the bag, and the pocket seems big enough for a wallet (not sure I'd personally want to put a phone in it so close to my pup, but one would fit) and poop bags. The first time I put her in it, she wasn't so sure, but the bag does hold her close to my body, and I think she quickly enjoyed being snuggled and having a different view of everything. (I gave her lots of treats first ride in the bag!) This morning when she was snuggled up by my side on the sofa, I took the opportunity to put the sling down where she had already been lying, and it was easy when we were both sitting for me to put her in and put the strap over my shoulder and go into the bathroom where I took these pics. As you can see, she was pretty relaxed and this is only the second day.Rosabel, my long-haired chihuahua mutt, is 9 lbs or so, and this fits her well. I am 5'5" and like where it comes on my body (see photos). I do tend to support the bag with one arm/hand, but I also did dishes, took the photos, and made myself a sandwich using two hands while she just watched quietly, so hands-free is definitely doable and seems safe for brief periods if you dog is resting quietly. The bag seems sturdy, but it's only the second day and I will keep an eye on the stitching.I don't use the "safety strap" because I will feel her struggle long before she could jump out, and the safety strap and clasp just wouldn't hold a 9 lb dog in if she really was struggling. Maybe it would add safety for a tiny 3 lb dog, but I wonder if it is more false security? The bag wouldn't be safe if a dog doesn't want to be in it, and it would be a long fall. But as I said, my dog adjusted pretty quickly with treats and the view and the cuddliing. If your dog is a cuddler, I should think it will take to the bag pretty quickly if you're patient and positive. I've kept her in it for less than an hour at a time.I also ordered a different pet sling/bag which hasn't arrived yet and will update this review when I've had a chance to compare and contrast them.

I have the white canvas carrier and use it for my 2.5 pound hyper-active Maltipoo puppy. The bag is a very good size for a small dog. The first carrier I ordered was too bulky for me. This one fits closer to my body and is comfortable. It's not perfect, however: The magnetic snap is useless as it opens every time the dog moves around. Because of the short, non-adjustable carrying strap, it's very hard to get my squirmy puppy into the bag and the bag across my body. I've tried putting him in before I put the bag on, and I've tried putting him in after putting the bag is across my body, and both ways are hard to manage. I am only a little over five feet tall and would prefer a little longer strap, so I can't imagine this one working for anyone much taller than me. And lastly, the safety buckle would be much better if it was attached closer to the bottom of the bag, then it wouldn't be hanging down at the dog's face where he constantly chews on it.I am keeping the bag because of it's minimal design, non-bulky construction, and because it's supposed to be machine-washable (which I haven't tried yet).

It doesn’t feel like much, but we love it and the puppy loves it too! And it’s not foofoo like some of them are. Much more my style!! So cute wearing it! Matches all my outfits!It’s kind of a thin material. Nothing special to it, but it’s the perfect size for our 9 week old 3.7 pound Chihuahua puppy. He doesn’t fight to get out of it. He just sits in it, comfortably, and feels safe and loved. 🥰 And it frees up my hands too, which is amazing!I’m 5’10” and it’s the perfect length for me. We love it and will buy it again! The quality is a little on the cheaper side (thin material) but the good definitely outweighs!We live in South Florida and it’s summer time, so it’s hot in our state 🥵 but the bag doesn’t seem to bother him at all! So I assume that’s why the material is light.Very easy to use too! It’s important to me to be able to scoop him up and put him in it easily and quickly, and so far it’s very easy to use! I will definitely purchase this again, as I said before!I would like to see another version come out that’s a little bit better quality material, and maybe some pocket improvements, but as I stated, I am extremely happy with this purchase and I’m grateful they made it! The bag's lining fell apart after the first wash before the first use. The second wash just destroyed the liner. I had to cut it completely out. The bag is useful and may be better for the summertime. It is the perfect size for my 5lb shih-poo. He fits comfortably and sleeps peacefully in it. My iPhone and small wallet fit in the pocket well. It does get a daily use. We love it despite the liner falling apart. It should be half the price.

This is the best! So fast and easy to put on and to place your dog inside and get out the door. My dog has always taken well to it, looking cozy and secure.

We just got a brand new tiny puppy that likes to be held all the time. At 4 lbs He’s a little too small for this yet but with his blankie in the bottom to stand on, he fits perfect and is cozy in there. This is great for when I need my hands free for a little while. The bag is very lightweight and soft but I trust it to hold him securely.This is a great carrier for a small dog, and I like the fit and look of it too.

I ordered a white sling which I was so excited about and waiting to receive. Well I JUST received it AND the strap is WAY TO SHORT. I am 5'6" and I'm not a big lady and when I put the sling over my head and TRIED to turn it to my side, there was NO WAY. It came right at my breast and there is NO WAY to even put my new tiny baby Yorky-poo of which is 1lb 8 oz in this sling while it sits right at my breast. They sell this as adjustable, which it's NOT. I also saw where there is another "long" strap sling BUT the measurements were the same as this one, makes no sense. I think they have their descriptions mixed up. I didn't even get to try my puppy in it. I WILL BE RETURNING this and to worried of trying another one in fear of having to returning it as well and it's sad because I have been shopping around to find the right sling and REALLY liked this one. Why do people have to be so dishonest when selling items. SMH

Very surprised good product perfect for our puppy lovely fabric our dog is very comfortable I just put a puppy pads at bottom in case an blanket over him to keep warm can fasten them in with lead clip an string to secure, spacious inside would buy again

Love the feel of the fabric, which has an almost linen-like texture. The pink is a pretty pink. I'm short so I have no issue with the strap length as it fits my body comfortably. For anyone else though, it may be too short to be comfortable. I have been asked a few times where it was purchased. People are attracted to the little furball in the baby sling, which was absolutely not my intention. My dog's always in super anxious mode and having her close to me in the sling seems to help with the shivering.

I was pretty sceptical when I first opened up the package, the bag is very light, but that’s what I bought it for. Every other carry bag seems to be black but for that’s no good for summer. We tried this ivory one out today and my little chihuahua loves it. Not nearly as bulky and hot as his black bag and sturdier than you’d expect. Also just looks like a crossbody bag if you fling it to the back when your dog isn’t in it, much more stylish than a regular front carrier. This will make for many comfortable walks. Definitely recommend.

My little boy loves this pouch and he will be able to use it his hole life.
