Great Story!
I, like many others, have always been a little 'fascinated' by Adolf Hitler, and his close cohorts, final end in Berlin as the Russian forces closed in...It has always seemed a rather 'convenient" ending to twenty years of tyranny to wrap everything up with a few suicides. We may well never know the true end, but this book has proved a great, alternative, ending to the perpetrators of the Third Reich which I have tremendously enjoyed! The story is well crafted, well paced and delivered with a strong sense of believability.I’m looking forward to the follow-up detailing the hunt for...(I will stop here, without providing any Spoiler for those yet to read this novel!)Read this book, it is a great yarn!

Believable
I really enjoyed reading this alternative look at history. Could it have happened? I really hope it's all just fiction.

Interesting but flawed
The premise for this novel is excellent, not only did Hitler not die in his bunker, but his grandson is going to be the next president of the United States. Multiple murders are committed to preserve the secrecy of this earth shattering scandal, and only an Argentinian police inspector and an American CIA operator are trying to bring it to light. So this should be a breathtaking read, but unfortunately the writing is simply not good enough, Mr Klein really struggles to bring any depth to his characters, they are one dimensional cardboard cut outs, and the dialogue is some of the most wooden I have ever read. To be honest I really struggled to finish this novel, which is a real shame, as it could have been really good.

Spellbinding
I found I couldn't put this book down. The story captures you from the very beginning and the many twists and turns keep you hooked page by page. Finally to find a connection at the acknowledgements with Belfast my home town was icing on the cake. Very strongly recommend and a wonderful first novel.
