I have several LED strip lights but this one is a new tech I guess because none of them have a rainbow color like this one does. It does all the thing any other LED strip light does but it only needs a USB plug to operate, the controller will allow you do to the majority of the functions and the APP will give you the ability to do an almost unlimited amount of sequences and color combinations. The bottom line to this is that this strip does things n9one of my other do and does it for less money so it gets a 5 Star rating from me

The first thing you should know is that this LED strip light has a USB connector for power. However you need to supply the power -- no USB power adapter is included. I used a spare cell phone charger.The light strip itself is bright and works well. But the controller for the strip is difficult to operate. In theory, you can use an infrared remote control or an app on your smartphone paired via Bluetooth. But in practice, switching from one control to another doesn't seem to work: if you start by using the remote control, the app won't work and vice versa. Sometimes no controls will work (not the app, not the remote control and not even the local on/off power button). The only way to recover is to disconnect the power and then try again. I was able to set up a timed schedule using the app and no longer bother trying to use the remote control. So minus two stars for the flaky inconsistent controller.The LED strip uses addressable chips (maybe WS2812B?) so you can select light chaser effects and multicolor fades/shifts along the strip. You can identify this type of strip since there are three conductors: power, ground and data. Sometimes the marketing description says "dream color" or "segmented" to distinguish from the simpler light strips where every LED displays the same color at once.Overall it's a nice LED strip light that's hampered by a temperamental controller.

I love these strip LED lights but most are powered via an outlet and been looking for one powered directly from a USB cord.This keeps the design nice and simple and naked the bulky AC adapter for the wall. The remote is a good size and has many functions including a timer and also comes with the microphone built into the controller within the strip lights so you can play music and it will change lights and light patterns automatically 😀👍

Opción bastante económica para mi mostrador de 3m.Buena adhesión en este caso al granito o equivalente de piedra.No incluye segmentado de color y tampoco es compatible con alexa.Extensión de cable USB larga y de buena calidad.Micrófono incluido y externo, es útil, porque la mayoría de las luces que utilizan control de voz por celular no pueden usar varios al mismo tiempo a menos que usen el mismo software.Buena iluminación.Control remoto realiza el trabajo cómodamente y con buen sensor pero podría traer más colores o funciones, ya que hay que ir barajando los modos uno por uno y echar para atrás hasta el deseado es algo incomodo.

Perfect length for the desk. Sticks great and you can trim it.Plugs in USB. No power supply needed. It's 5v 3pin in case you wanted to run it off an addressable header. (Soldering required)The App is fantastic. I wasn't expecting a timer function so that was an added bonus.I will update this listing if anything changes
