Works but has its drawbacks
I will say that I used it once and it performed as expected. The output was a bit cryptic but I was able to figure it out. However, on my phone I was not leaving Bluetooth turned on. The app kept turning on the Bluetooth and searching for the device constantly using a lot of CPU running down my battery. I may look to find another app that would link with the tool and see how that works.

Works well with the Torque Pro app on my Android phone. For the price, you can't beat it.

Avoid! It will only work for you three months and then mess up
It worked amazingly for the first 3 months then it started to mess up and not connect and now it's just a paperweight

Easy to use
We have an older mini van (2004 Nissan Quest) and it is starting to show its age. I have had a check imagine light on for about a month so I was thrilled when I was selected to review this device. It was very simple to plug into my diagnostic port and it came with very detailed instructions. It did take a bit of technical knowledge to get the app all set up but it was fairly simple. I plan on leaving this in my vehicle so I can monitor its performance. Well worth the money and little bit of effort to get it set up!I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review

OBD II reader to check vehicle at home
This is the third OBD II reader that I have been able to use at home with my personal vehicles. I was bummed that I was unable to get the app to work with my Samsung Note 3 but my Samsung Galaxy had no issues. The app once downloaded was confusing as to how to really log in.I was able to run the scanner in TRY MODE and look at the error codes and see some engine functions. I am still trying to figure out how to completely log in to utilize all of the features that are offered. The reader also comes with an extender cable so that the scanner can be plugged in and placed in the glove box or under a seat. This is good for the at home convenience of running error codes and monitoring the health of your engine. NOTE: I did recieve this in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

limited functions
I hate to say it but the product is not made to good. I installed a couple apps and I only get limited function with this device. I am a huge on car mechanics and know how these work quite well. The cool thing about it is it can plug right into the obd port or it also comes with a cable to extend it if need be. Once a couple apps were running it displayed limited information for my model car which is a 1997 volvo 850. One of the first years obd2 came out but I do not have this much trouble with other scanners I have. Looks like who ever made it did not know the english laungage quite well either. Comes with a cd for the drivers but like I said it is not the best made and really you do not get nearly as much functions as others out there on the market.I received this item at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
