VibraLITE 8 - Vibrating Reminder Watch with Black Silicone Strap

I bought this watch for my husband, because of how much I liked the Vibralite 12 mini. Unfortunately, there are some differences to this model which make it much less suited to our needs. Firstly, the vibration is loud - I can hear it go off in the morning while lying next to my husband. The whole purpose of this was for him to be able to get up early for work without disturbing me. The other thing that's disappointing, is that unlike the Vibralite 12 mini, there is no "lock-out" feature - which means you can accidentally press buttons without realising it. The Vibralite 12 mini , which I have, has a strong enough vibration to wake me up, but it is not audible to another person in the room. I have been considering buying the 12 mini for my husband now, but I'm not sure that the wrist strap will fit around a man's wrist. It's disappointing that all the models don't have all the same, important features in common.

I purchased this watch as a Hard of Hearing option, and I think it would be great for Deaf too. My concerns when ordering online is not being able to test the product, and I was worried that the vibration might be too weak and/or the watch might be bulky. However the watch arrived in two days and seems to have plenty of battery life, a strong vibration with a backlight, and is no larger than an average adult male sized watch.The only drawbacks I've noticed so far is that it is only water resistant (I work in a pretty wet environment), and no snooze function. However with the 8 alarm system, you can get around this by just setting multiple alarms.I've been using this as an alarm for the last week and a half and waking up in the morning has been so much easier without the strain and anxiety of being jarred awake by a sonic attack or not being able hear my alarm going off at all and I've actually been sleeping better. At the risk of hyperbole, this watch is a godsend that has legitimately changed my life, and if you are shopping around like I was, this one has been everything I've wanted and worth the $60. Great product, would recommend!

I purchased the VibraLITE 8 for my mom, to set reminders to measure her blood glucose and take her meds. On the plus side, it’s comfortable, sturdy and keeps perfect time. Also, it was relatively easy to program. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to adjust the volume of the alarm. My mom can’t hear it at all! If Mom is awake, she feels the vibration, so that’s not a problem. However, if she’s napping, neither the vibration nor the alarm wake her. I wish I could increase the volume of the alarm. Mom naps often throughout the day, so this is a big problem. I’ve had to purchase an alarm clock with multiple alarms for when she’s napping. I’m disappointed, as I thought the watch would be enough.

Hopefully I’ve purchased a lemon because this is garbage. The vibration seems weak but more importantly, the sound won’t turn off. Even from the “options” menu and placing “vibra” in the “on” position and “sound” in the “off” position, it still alarms with sound. I’m in a situation where sound discipline is important but I’m still in need of an alarm. I’ve given it 2 stars because it’s a watch and it keeps time. I will contact the company and return this to Amazon. After that, I’ll adjust this review as necessary.UPDATE: Contacted the manufacturer and they were extremely helpful. My watch is being replaced. Once I receive the new one and properly test it, I will comment further.

Excellent watch. Got it for my mother who had a mild stroke 5 months ago. Now has several medication to take daily. Prior to stroke took zero medications so it's been a challenge to get her into the habit. It was important to make her responsible for taking her meds at the right times throughout the day. The watch has the day of the week(easy for her to match up with her pill cases) and multiple alarm options. We set 6 alarms throughout the day for her meds. The watch buzzes and vibrates at the same time. It also turns the alarm off on its own so mom doesn't have to find a button to shut alarm off. Large numbers on face so great for seniors. Would highly recommend for seniors.

I bought this in 2017 primarily for the large watch face. In that regard, it proved to be excellent. However, on the down side, the alarm is very soft and I stopped using it for a year or so in favor of my oldTimex Ironman which has a smaller face but louder alarms.I pulled the Vibralite out about a month ago to give it another try. It need a new battery, which I installed. Still like the large face but the alarms are still too quiet. Then today a piece of the casing that holds one end of the watch band swivel just broke off. Considering I have only worn the watch for about one month over the last three years, this seems a bit dodgy.Couldn't really recommend it even though it is a good looking watch with a very easily readable face.

I purchase this product before. I've use it to reminded me to pause and to become present. Set repeat countdown timer to go off every 30 mins an entire day, when it did I would stop what I was doing and practice deep breathing. Then I set the alarms for hour apart, so now I would get practice every hour doing five minutes of deep breathing. I reached my intended goal for automatic "mindfulness".I Love the multiple alarms and the option for silent vibrating alarm. So the if I am timing or waiting for something, but want to listen to my headphones until then, the watch buzzes/vibrated to let me know via vibration that my set alarm is now going off.BEST OF ALL-- It is ideal for folks (like myself) with ADHD as it allows me to set the watch to vibrate and alarm every 3min, 10min, 20min or whatever intervals offer by any official ADHD watches to alert you to get back to focusing on the task at hand. Accept this watch will give you much more interval choices.
