Very pleased with this manual grinder, it's very well packaged in a nice presentation box and you can tell straight away it's a premium product. The body of the grinder is nicely machine knurled, which makes it very tactile and easy to grip. The threads are cut perfectly for both the top cap where you fill with beans and the collection chamber. It unscrews and screws back together very easily with no misalignment.The burr inside again is very well machined with no chips or rough spots.The stainless steel handle is well made, comfortable to use and easy to attach and detach (push fit).Inside the burr grind setting is easily adjusted with a numbered dial, which clicks into place at each increment. I have not tested all settings as I only use the grinder for espresso and as per the enclosed guide, I set the burr between 1 & 3. I found for my machine, a De'longhi Dedica number 1 is 2 fine for the supplied pressurised baskets. Number 2 works well. On my bottomless portafilter the number 1 setting is perfect.The grinder also includes a sifting basket which fits inside the collection chamber, which I don't use as I grind fine. Plus a nice quality travel bag, if you are using as a portable grinder and a couple of cleaning brushes.All in all, I am very pleased with the Staresso grinder.

So pleased with this. I'm not a coffee officionado but I do appreciate a good brew and I've been gradually working on perfecting my morning cup.This grinder is easy to use, nice and smooth and gets through a full chamber pretty quick. If I fill it to the top it grinds the perfect amount for my moka pot.It's my first burr grinder so I don't have much/any comparison but at size 4 (for moka) the grind looks even and brews a lovely smooth cup!I'd recommend this to anyone wanting an easy grind from a well made and beautiful object!

A good manual grinder. It’s durable and does what it suppose to do. I often take it to work with me, or even when on holiday, as I enjoy drinking freshly ground coffee. It’s 4 out of 5 from me (should really be 4.5 or even 4.75) as I’d prefer if it would have fine tuning instead of steps + wooden knob slid off from the handle a few times during grinding - but that’s a minor niggle. On a plus side the basket for ground coffee is very handy, the perforated shell helps with holding the grinder during operation and the travelling bag is very useful. I’m using the grindr for about 4 month now, on daily basis, and for now I’m satisfied with it.

Grinds fine enough for espresso and coarse enough for cafatiere

The grinder I received had a faulty handle knob. I didn't want to return the grinder because it grinds really nice coffee. So, I asked for a replacement handle from the seller, and they sent me a whole new one. This is super kind customer care. The grinder is really nice and sturdy btw. It is a nice entry-level stainless-steel burr grinder. The additional fine mesh filter inside is a nice touch to have a more consistent ground coffee. If you sift your ground coffee, you understand what I mean. I highly recommend this grinder both for its quality and the customer service they provide. Just lovely!

From new, the grinder had a fault (the handle rubbed on the top, grinding off the metallic finish and metal beneath it with use, with the design seeing the debris ). Contacted Staresso customer service immediately, who advised this was old stock with a known fault and promised to send a replacement. When no replacement was forthcoming after 3 months, I queried with them, at which point they acted as if I was contacting them for the first time; telling me that the fault (metallic dust and flakes being deposited into my coffee) "did not effect use", and then simply ignoring my replies when I appealed to the contrary.Were it not for the fault, it's clear this would be a good grinder, and I was able to return it for a refund from Amazon - but be warned that Staresso customer service can be inconsistent and even purposefully negligent.

It's a nice and sturdy coffee grinder. It definitely does the job and for its price range, I guess it's one of the bests.

For travel is easy to carry it.

Gekocht om vers filterkoffie te kunnen zetten. Kwalitatief is de molen stabiel en maakt een goede indruk. Qua design wat mij betreft ook een eyecatcher. Het malen zelf gaat inmiddels soepel en de maalgraad is in tredes in te stellen. Hier had ik in het begin wel wat problemen mee omdat de molen niet helemaal goed "gekalibreerd" was. Na een korte mailwisseling met de producent uiteindelijk de nulwaarde goed kunnen zetten. Qua maling niets op aan te merken hoewel ik niet kan beoordelen of de graad en consistente voldoende zijn voor bijvoorbeeld een espresso. Met de filterkoffie heb ik daar iets meer speling in en daar voldoet de koffiemolen meer dan. Al met al een aanrader die ik ook ruime tijd na de aankoop nog dagelijks gebruik.

Ho aperto la confezione che sembrava sigillata bene, ho aperto il grinder e ho immediatamente richiesto il reso. Prodotto scadente e pericoloso. Le lame all’interno sono tutte sfaldate e perde pezzetti di metallo. Mettendo il dito all’interno si nota che è sporco e unto di grasso, il che è un problema dato che non può essere lavato con acqua. In più, puzza. Gli scatti per regolare il tipo di caffè non sono assolutamente fluidi e danno l’dea che dopo una volta si romperanno. Sconsiglio assolutamente l’acquisto.
