Not exactly what I wanted, but it will work. Sohospark seems to be out of stock on refills, so I went searching for substitutes. This fits without trimming even though I think it was designed to be a standalone writing pad. I want to use my fancy leather cover because I'm pretentious.It's thinner than I wanted. Off-white paper closer to the yellow shades. Lined college ruled spacing, A5 paper size. The wider space at the bottom seemed like it should be on top, but that puts the 'made in China' stamp upside down (figures).My limited fountain pen collection is represented in the pictures. Glides ok. Minimal bleed through. Fountain pens are notorious for bleed through so roller balls should be ok.

These are small. Small.I wanted something about this size minus the metal spiral that you can buy from walmart, but there aren't very many pages. It's just not good value.

I love using small little notebooks for notes, to-do lists and other things so these were the perfect buy for all my note taking needs! Such a great value and well bound and would be perfect to buy in bulk and give some to people for gifts!

I wanted a very affordable journal that did not break the bank.I have a hard cover one that I really like, but wanted somethingI can fill up without worrying about wasting pages. Good value.

These are nice notebooks. An affordable alternative to Moleskine Cahiers notebooks, but lacking the back pocket. I don't like the texture of the cover quite as much as a Moleskine, but honestly, these get the job done. I don't have anything negative to say about them, just nothing super glowing either. They meet expectations, which is good enough for now.
