Works so good. I can't live without it.

My daughter and I both have really long hair, and it easily clogs up the shower drain. I first found these in a store and decided to give them a whirl. They caught so much hair! I was impressed so I came to amazon to order more. After a month or 2 when you see the drain starting to get slow you just grab the decorative end and pull it out, and out comes all the hair. Then just pop a new one in. I really like how it sits inside the drain so you don't have to see the hair being collected, or clean it out daily like with some traps that fit over top of the drain.

Having unclogged many shower drains due to long hair falling out, this is the simplest, most hygienic way I have ever done it. Being able to replace it with a fresh one without messing with the hair itself is nice. I bought replacements. It doesn’t work in every style of drain in our house. We did have to open the center of our drain with a drill bit so the plastic around the chain would lay flat. Paying for replacements may be a negative for some, however I am happy to avoid using chemicals or touching slimy globs.

I HAVE A FLAT FLOOR DRAIN IN MY SHOWER AND I HAVE ALWAYS USED THE FLOWER SHAPED DRAIN WIGS. THESE ARE CUTE, SOMETHING DIFFERENT. THEY CATCH MUCH OF MY HAIR, I JUST NEED TO REMEMBER TO CLEAN THEM MORE OFTEN. THE HAIR GRABS ON TO THE LITTLE RUBBER THINGS THAT ARE ON THE BEADED CHAIN THAT GOES DOWN THE DRAIN. IT'S KIND OF ICKY TO PULL THE HAIR OFF BUT IT'S ONLY MY HAIR SO IT ISN'T TOO HORRIBLE. I GET MONTHS OUT OF EACH ONE. EVENTUALLY YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THEM. HAVEN'T HAD A CLOGGED SHOWER YET.

I live in an older house and I have ALL the hair. I’ve only showered 1 time and it has caught the hair (you can see in the picture). I didn’t give 5 stars only because I haven’t used and disposed of this yet. The pieces on the chain are super flexible so you just pull the chain through the holes.
