Fotoconic 144mm / 5.7 Inch Diameter Speed Ring Adapter Flange Speedring Softbox Soft Box Compatible with Godox Strobe/Bowens S Flash Monolight

These fit my Bowens mount lights perfectly.I don't know if they fit the speed rings on my soft boxes, I actually modified these with some tabs welded on so that I could use all my paul c buff light modifiers.They work well for that.The steel is a little thin, but I don't think that would pose a problem. They seem solid enough, and the ring for the Bowens is definitely thicker and reinforced with a collar.Well made and you can't beat the price.

I need to convert my seven Paul C Buff softboxes to a Bowens mount, so I purchased one of these to test it, based on some of the comments in the previous reviews. 144mm seemed slightly large, so I was hesitant to buy all seven adapter rings before trying it. It's a good thing I did because it is too large to fit within the recessed portion of the PCB softboxes for the adapter ring. The PCB softboxes have a removable adapter ring with a 139mm outer diameter, which is 5mm smaller than this ring. So, do not believe the comments that this will fit a PCB because it does not. That said, fortunately for me I have another use for this ring, so I'll give it 5 stars for its build quality and price. Now, to find a 139mm adapter ring...

It’s good quality, solid and fits the newer style BCB soft boxes perfectly. I’m gonna order a few more for all of them.

I actually needed a 140mm flange, but couldn't find one for a reasonable price, so I ordered this. I was a bit concerned Fotoconic isn't exactly a household name. My concern was that it might be a bit thin and flimsy.I received it knowing I would need to somehow reduce the diameter by 4mm for my softbox. I marked it up and went about trimming it with a small belt sander. No go! The steel was reassuringly thick and durable. I ended up having to remove the material with a very coarse stone bench grinder and then finished it up with the belt sander to smooth the edge. Very nice and I'm 100% confident it will hold up to some abuse. Highly recommended!

What I like best about these inserts is that they are very low-profile. I have two Visico strip boxes that require the 144mm (not 152mm standard) inserts; and, I am using Godox AD600B strobes with them. These inserts allow the strobe to sit farther forward inside the modifier so the flash bulb is able to fill them appropriately. This is a plus!The build quality is adequate. No fear of failure.Great value for the money. Almost all low-profile Bowen's inserts are unreasonably expensive. I'm happy with my purchase.

There’s not much to say. The speed ring mount works flawlessly and performs as well as ones I’ve paid many times tie price for.

Perfect fit for my 30x60 PCB Softbox to convert for use with my new Westcott FJ400's. Recommended.
