Hot Meals
We donโt use microwaves, so I bought this for my daughter to warm up her lunch while at work. She loves it! She plugs it up for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before her lunch, and her meal is perfect every time.

Hope it lasts!
Let me tell you, if possible, about my work environment. It's 952 paces (average 3 feet per pace) from my desk across two ware houses to a tiny break room where the microwave is. It takes eight minutes to walk it. Of course the break room is crammed with people at lunch. Heating food generally used up another 10 minutes as you gotta wait on people in line. So there's 18 minutes of a 30 minute break before we even walk back. The rules say no food is allowed in the warehouses, yet, we risk our jobs every time we want hot food to walk through with our cold food, then back with our hot food - which isn't very hot anymore by the time we get back to our desks. Plus carrying a hot container has other risks.Added is the risk that we drop our food... This hot plate's arrival today was especially sweet because just today, the guy who gets a 1 hour lunch and is allowed to leave the property during work hours to go buy hot food or whatever he wants to eat - while us peons suffer and starve - he said, "I would ask for a new printer before a microwave oven for our department." We have a printer, it works. He just wants a fancier one, and would let his crew eat cold food or get fired to eat hot food during our 12 hour shift, before he would supply us with a microwave. Ya, he's a real piece of dweep this one.So I bought this thing. I chose it in particular because as a soft sided bag I have more options for food container sizes and shapes. It arrived today while I was at my crappy job. Soon as I got home and unpacked it, I put a dish of soup in it and plugged it in. It seems to work amazing and forgive me for gloating, but I cannot wait to take it with me tomorrow and eat fresh hot food at my desk while my co-workers turn green with envy.I plan to keep this item at work, and carry my cold food in my lunch box as usual, heating it at work (because i carry a lot of other stuff in my lunch box as if it were a purse and still need that bag for it all). This is an amazing idea. So here's a swift kick in the shin to the A-Hole who will not submit a request for a stupid microwave for the nine people who eat cold sandwiches every day while he leaves site to go eat good food. I wish I could infest his chair with lice.

Works better than a microwave (if you can wait)!
I did not realize how well this thing would work! I plug it in at my desk at the office and throw my typically 2-3 cup container of soup/casserole/etc in it at 11 and by 11:45a it is perfectly heated through. There is no scalding, cold spots, burnt spots or drying out. You can even touch the bowl without burning yourself...somehow. Granted, its still very hot, it doesn't get burning hot like in a microwave or oven. I'm not sure how this works so well but I prefer it to my personal sized crock pot even since this tends to leave dried out edges since it cooks in the metal insert and not the dish you stored it in. Great product for a surprisingly great price!

Works but you have to be patient
This is my first portable oven, and I bought it because coworkers have these kind of oven and use it instead the microwave, however other brands warm the food around 30 minutes, this one do the job but you need at least 1 hour, and if you use it around 1 hour you can't have plastic box because the oven will melt it, so you need glass container if you want to really warm your food

Love it for the office!
Great little oven! I bought it to use instead of having to use my work's common kitchen microwave (wanted to avoid due to covid). **Only thing is you have to remember to put your food in early enough to eat when you plan to :)**. The instructions that come with it gives a few examples of cook times. I find ~2hrs is usually enough for most food items. Works great for frozen dinners (like a lean cuisine), reheating leftovers can be quicker (like an hour) but depends on the type and size of your meal. Generally if I put my food in for at least 2 hours I'm happy. Doesn't overheat!

Health hazard Plastic smell and not hot jut barely warm after 3 hr
I want to be healthy to reheat using this mini oven instead of microwave in the office. It have a strong burn plastic smell when u using it. After 3 hrs the food is barely warm definitely NOT in a very warm side. I have tired both plastic container and aluminum container result about the same temperature. I got to work at 9 and lunch during 12:15pm. I am not comfort for the plastic smell in a long run a health hazard.

Not lunch box but a lunch warming bag!
Same with other users, lunch room closed - no fridge/water/microwave. Bought this hoping reviews are close to truth. Main reason for this purchase was so that I don't have to use the same container like other item but I can just throw in whatever lunch I have for that day. Used the bag for 3 times, works great so far. Heats my lunch to warm to hot in about 20-30 minutes. First test run was done with a market bought cold cooked chicken. Took 40 minutes to turn a cold chicken into a hot chicken. So if you pack lunch in the morning and heat them up at lunch, 20-25 minutes is good enough. It did not say anything about overheating but seeing how I could heat the cold chicken to hot in 40 minutes, I wouldn't keep it on for over 1 hour.

Parts melting
I bought this product early this year to warm my food. Didn't want to use the one and only microwave provided by the office.Pros - It does the work, hot food for lunch. I love it's compactness.Cons - Was a little bit concern initially because the warmed food emits the smell of plastic. This disappeared after a few uses. I question if this is safe to use for a prolonged period. The quality of the product is very disappointing. The base started to break into pieces only after a few months of use. For the price I paid I'm expecting better.

Its really useful
I got this warmer a few weeks ago. Am very satisfied with the results. I use glassware for my lunch and this warmer takes about 30-40 minutes to warm up my food. I havenโt risked it with plastic yet. Anything in aluminum foil will warm up in 10 mins max.
