A great value for top notch protection! Just remember to keep track of your renewal and read the terms of their auto-renew policy. You can opt in or out at any time by changing the setting. The additional level of tech support and virus removal service is include as long as you are signed up for the auto renewal but you will be renewed at the regular rate which is higher than this initial value. You can chose to simply opt out from the auto renew program a few months before your subscription ends and purchase the software again from a retailer like Amazon at a discounted price. The new subscription will be added to your current subscription so you don't lose anything. They do require a valid credit card on file to activate the auto renewal and upgraded tech support but it will only be charged if you have the program turned on in your settings. There is basic tech support available to help with the installation and to make sure you have the settings adjusted to your preference. I have been a satisfied subscriber for over 10 years and have used both the auto renew and the self install methods.

Bought this package for 14 bucks as open box. It contains a card with the reg. no., then you have to download the software to the respective equipment to be protected. I was running the free Avira software before, which considerably slowed down my PC and was overly sensitive in identifying clean software as malware. Download, installation and managing the installations was a breeze with McAfee. I currently run it on Win10, Win7Pro, Anrdroid 4.4 smartphone and Android 4.2 tablet without any issues. The tablet app provides other nice features, like a trace-and-find tool and energy management. I have not vetted it with intentional exposure to viruses/malware, but a check run with other software did not identify any malware having leaked through the McAfee. So far no complaints at all. The option for automatic renewal during installation (mentioned in other reviews) is a quite common feature, I was not bothered or inconvenienced by that.

I replaced an anti-virus program with this. It allows up to five devices to be protected for one price. The previous software program tried to pull a fast one and said I needed emergency removal of a Trojan virus. I knew enough about computers that I recognized I was being jerked around for a quick sale. I like the Mcafee in particular because it has a good spam and junk mail filter and it will check the various posts on social media, and clearly mark the posts that are safe.

I have bought Mcafee Total Protection for the last 2-4 years and other Mcafee AntiVirus Products before. They taught us that you need antivirus software so I have it. I have it for my Windows 10 devices. They keep changing amount of devices. I like the 10 device one or unlimited(discontinued) one. I try to get this on sale. Ease of use is fine. Mcafee Customer service with questions=excellent for me. Had a question, ended up to be a stupid one but they answered it and fixed the issue or setting. It was a setting in the firefox add-ons.

This product was extremely difficult to load. It took three tries before it loaded onto my computer. Once software start operating my computer slowed down. It finally got so bad I decided to delete the program. But the program would allow me to delete it. I called customer service, whose representatives were very helpful, but they were unable to gain access to my computer or the provided solutions by email worked. I spent almost an hour with the first representative, then over an hour with the second. It was like to software new its life was going to be terminated and wasn't going to allow that to happen. The representative told me that my program was good for 5 devices when the box says for 10. The other two computers that we loaded the software on reminds us that we don't have Internet protection. Although the customer service representative said the program was on two of our three computers. I have lost a day out of my life because of the software.I am not a computer guru, but I've never had so many problems loading a program. Never never never never purchase another McAfee product.

we have over 30 PCs in our business and this was a great deal. This 10 package is good for some who has more than 3 devices. it protects your devices for over a year. Great deal and great products. Amazon also shipped this to me safe and fast.

software would not install on my dell windows 10. After two tries I contacted customer support and they took control of my computer and tried to install it. They removed my system mechanic from iolo saying not compatible. Then they said I had a corrupt host file. After about 30 minites I lost internet I guess. Next day I downloaded a file called preinstall file from McAFEE and on fourth try I succeeded in getting it installed. I tried to go back and look at the host files and McAFEE had changed something but I was afraid to mess with it because I am not that computer savey. It was supposed to be a five device software and don't know if I still have that after using four different serial numbers to install it on this computer.

Had no difficulty installing this over the 2016 version. the process went seamlessly and I was up and running in under 15 minutes. I was also able to install it on another PC and download the mobile version to my two cell phones without any difficulty. In all cases the product continued to perform well. Two peeves are that (1) it misses some adwares on my cellephone and Secure Search does not always perform flawlessly on my PC.
